Tattoo Advice

Well its time for the tattoos I got when I was 15 to go. Ive been doing research on laser tattoo removal, though expensive, looks like it might work for me. Does anyone else have experience with this? What kind of results should I expect, how much should I pay, what should I look out for, are there other treatments other than laser?

 

Ive made calls to a few places in my area that do this but none picked up the phone. Not a good first impression for me.

No idea how expensive it would be, but, depending on the size of the tattoo, expect to pay a lot. For the rest: Wikipedia article on Tattoo removal

My old roommate had one of his tattoos removed using the chemical method. It isn't supposed to hurt as bad as laser (both physically and financially) but it takes much longer.

Not an expert by any means, but I believe some of it is dependent on where the tattoo is, how large, how old, what kinds of dyes were used, ect.

 

Calling places is, unfortunately, usually worthless. Show up in person and only get a consultation if it is free. Not only will this give you some idea of how much it might cost, but give you an idea of how safe and competent the business is. Don't treat it as a medical procedure, treat it like looking for contractors to remodel your kitchen.
