Ethreon
Use Boston FPS Fix. I cannot recommend that mod more. It won't cure the issues, but it will alleviate them a lot.
Evangela
ALL THE TIME. Not just FPS drop though(it's not that much, but: ) Everywhere else is fine, but as soon I fast travel anywhere there, I'll get the longest load screens in gaming history, and it's the same if I enter the area from any building in the area. And I don't use any mods that touch the area. It's just one big clusterscrewjob of bad optimization. Or maybe because it has the biggest and tallest, and therefore most pixels to render, buildings(Mass Fusion and.. some other big tower) out of all the areas in the game. There really needs to be an educational post pinned to the front of fallout 4 section about using mods that change worldspace. Would cut out all posts like this. ALL worldspace changing mods will create fps issues. Use Boston FPS Fix to alleviate the issue.Geez man, your patience has hit rock bottom in the last couple of months. zorak912
Many mods that edit the world tend to break the precombined, I think Nexus should have a warning, tag or something. A lot of people do not know this.
JimmyRJump
Use Boston FPS Fix. I cannot recommend that mod more. It won't cure the issues, but it will alleviate them a lot. I'll have a look at it. Too many folk without a driver's license wanting to tear through the landscape in a Formula One car and then plonking their wrecked vehicle somewhere on the Nexus wondering what went wrong... speedynl
typical nexus user = wow look nice mod, wow another 1 and another 1 and and ect, then in the end things vanish, appears again, npc's do strange things, huge fps drops, things creating voids, and or are invisible, game crash and or don't start at all, and then they wonder why(mostly duing the fact they don't even read the mod description at all)
xKnightus
I know this post is years old. But I just got to bunker hill in my playthrough and I've been getting a consistence 60 fps even in downtown Boston up until I got here. Where I was getting 30 fps. I have a really good system (i7-9700k with an RTX 2070 and 32gbs ram) just to note. Once I removed Scrap Everything I went back to a consistent 60 fps. Thank you so much for your post. I just wanted to let people know that this is still relevant in 2020. Thank you again for posting this.
