For Act 2, what is the easiest or quickest route to take?

what exactly do you consider act 1 and act 2?

does act 1 end with Ring-A-Ding-Ding!? if so , do you consider act 2 to be everything from that point to the end of the main story?

not sure what you mean , as the game doesn't really have acts , at least not officially

however , assuming I am correct with the way you define the acts of the game , and looking at the main quest structure in the Fallout Wikia (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_quests) , it seems like Caesar's Legion has the fewest quests , while Mr House gives the most quests

I haven't done most of these quests in years , so I can't recall the length of each quest , but I believe the Legion route is the fastest , as you aren't setting up "complex" relations with all the factions

this route is usually the most straight forward route to take , so it should also be the fastest one

personally , I think this main quest is worth experiencing , especially the rather different perspectives (something that FO4 failed to copy , as many fans will testify) , and there are plenty of interesting side quests to play as well

so I think rushing through this game defeats the point of the game , though it's completely up to you

Like WastelandAssassin, I am assuming that you consider Act 1 to be everything up to and including Ring-A-Ding-Ding, and Act 2 is basically picking a faction and following that faction's quest line.

I personally tend to take the opposite approach. I follow all of the main questlines except the Legion as far as I can before being forced to choose. However, if you really are looking for the absolute easiest and fastest questline to follow though, that's probably going to be the Yes Man questline.

The way most people play the Yes Man questline, you need to meet with each faction and do each faction's quest, which makes it one of the longest questlines. But technically you don't have to do each faction's quests. You can instead just tell Yes Man that you want to ignore that faction, and that's it. You can skip all of the individual faction quests. I don't remember if you have to actually speak to the leaders of each faction, but I don't think you do. Even if you do, that's one quick conversation with each faction, and that's it.

Playing Fallout New Vegas while intentionally skipping as much of Fallout New Vegas as you can doesn't make much sense to me, but if that's what you really want to do, then Yes Man is probably your best way to do it.

Thanks guys, yes am now doing Yes Man (independent New Vegas).

It seems I have to trek to far away places just to meet with leader of that minor faction.. speak to them a little while then I get option to tell Yes Man to ignore that faction.

Also, with Brotherhood, I had a bomb collar so I had to kill the NCR guy. Is this normal?
