Got almost 7000 Fallout 4 mods sitting in NMM and I'm sure there's some that have a low endorsement amount. Sometimes it aggravates or even slightly grieves me, but mostly I shrug and carry on. If you get 10% of the downloads as endorsement, you're lucky. That's how people are. Greedy as hell but too damn lazy to raise the mouse half a screen and click the endorse button. Afraid they strain an elbow or finger, I guess.

To be honest, back in the days I didn't even notice the endorsement button nor did understand the system behind it. I think it would help to position the button more prominently and point out to mod users what the meaning/importance of the system is.

the only mods that get endorsments are those with insane big b00bs, so called goddes body's, perfect body ect ect ect

and all the xxxxx zillion weapon mods

the modders that pour xx hours into a mod get nothing, well they get someting if you count the do this, add this, change this, bugged, mod sucks, or comments that have nothing to do with the mod itself

80+% of the nexus users are just a bunch of greedy/ungradeful/crying kids

That's the reason I have adult content disabled so I don't have to see that crap ;)

A really good mod is nistons useful chemist, which is a bit like the Contraptions-DLC but with people instead of machines. And it's a framework:

The Elm Atlas Boundary helper is awesome too, good for retexturing trees:

Oh, I'm sure that most people - even those who are new to the nexus - know about the system and how it works. It's the "social media" age. I'm in my 50s, I never used fecesbook or $hitter or any other of these but even I understand why it's a good thing to endorse good mods.

@JimmyRJump is absolutely right. People are greedy and lazy and on top of that they are easily annoyed. Make it bigger or more prominent or add some code that reminds them about it and they become very vocal. We had this with "paid mods" on Steam, we had this with the friendly reminder to turn off the add blocker, when you're not a Premium member. Even some mod creators showed in the past that they believe it's all about them.

This. Sadly it's the nature of BGS games. Everybody can play them and skimpy mods are the ones that get heavily promoted by certain successful youtubers.

I bet, one certain... uh... "story teller" wouldn't even get a third of the views if he wouldn't use skimpy outfits and big booty mods. It's a nice distraction from the fact that he barely delivers any content and instead rambles about "in the back we find a pre-war safe with a lit cigar in it. Why is it lit and who put it here? Maybe blablabla We'll never know..." while he misses the few important things that are there.

Sex sells. That's the boring truth.
