TheBestIdiot122
"I'm originally from Heliogabalus, as you may already know." Norgold said, he thought for another moment trying to think of anything else he wanted to asked. Everything he thought was probably really personal, and he didn't want to ask them. He glanced back at the Drow, "Um... I do have other questions, but all of them might be a little bit to personal." Norgold said truthfully. Naktis
"I've never been in Heliogabalus... is it beautiful?" Nawen glanced at the dwarf. "I don't really mind personal questions."
TheBestIdiot122
"It's wonderful... the overlapping hills have beautiful green grass, and the mountains shine from the sun... It was amazing." Norgold said, lost in his thoughts again. He was surprised that she didn't mind, he looked back at the Drow again, "It's so rare to meet Drow these days, don't you get lonely?" Norgold asked curiously Edited April 26, 2012 by TheBestIdiot122
Naktis
"Not really to tell you the truth. I've never met another Drow myself." Nawen actually never thought about this. Most of the dwarves of Mithrilaxe clan were kind to her and her mentor Illius was also kind to her too and because of this she never felt lonely no matter how rare it is to see another Drow these days. She also knew how most of them are and she was glad that she never met one.
AurianaValoria1
Rhaine finished buckling her armor, rolling up her robes and placing them in her pack. She belted Touch of Death to her side, then checked the last contents of her footlocker. All that remained in the chest was a small leather bag, with various animal designs embroidered on it in bright thread. It was a Bag of Holding she had purchased in Rashemen. The bag held what treasures she had kept from her stay in that wild country...including one thing that might be of use: Gulk'aush's hag eye. She picked up the bag, turning it over momentarily before finally placing it in her pack. The chest empty, she closed the lid and left her quarters, locking the door behind her. Rhaine re-entered the nave, pack slung over one shoulder, "Are you two ready? We'll need horses if we are to make any time at all, so follow me to the stables." TheBestIdiot122
Norgold was going to ask another question before Rhaine walked in, he glanced at the drow, "We'll talk later." He said before he turned toward Rhaine, "I'm ready to go if you are." He added as he got off the pew. He did want to know more about Nawen and Rhaine both, but he'd just have to wait for now. Naktis
Nawen was looking at Norgold because it looked like he wanted to say something but then Rhaine came back packed and ready. "Alright." Nawen said to Rhaine. She was anxious to finish this as soon as possible. Something about undead just doesn't sit right with her. She never fought undead before... AurianaValoria1
"Right then, follow me." Rhaine made her way through the Temple's halls to the back, opening a set of double doors that led to a courtyard. Across the courtyard was the stables. She opened another set of double doors, holding them open for her companions. "Most of these horses are for pulling hearses. But all the ones on the right side of the aisle are free for riding. Take your pick of them and tack them up. Just don't choose the white mare on the end...she's mine."
TheBestIdiot122
Norgold nodded and followed her, as they reached the stable at the other end of the courtyard, he listened to what Rhaine said, and he entered the stables and looked through the horses, until he went through them all, besides the horse on the end. He went through them again and just picked one. A black horse with a white mane. It was well fed and in good hygiene also. The equipment was all rested on the wall, the saddle, breastplate, surcingle, etc. He was able to get the saddle on, and the reins with no trouble. However, the stirrups were needed due to his height. After a bit of struggling, he got it on. He gently lead the horse out of the stable and waited for the rest. Naktis
Nawen followed Rhaine and Norgold to the stables. She learned how to ride a horse during her ranger training back in Neverwinter Wood. At first she was a bit nervous but after spending few minutes in the saddle she got used to it and it wasn't scary anymore. The drow listened to what Rhaine said and glanced at the horses. All of them even the ones used for pulling hearses were very beautiful and well looked after. She looked at the beautiful white horse which belonged to Rhaine and the black horse which Norgold chose and picked a dark bay horse. It wasn't her habit for pick animals like they're some sort of item. She picked the bay horse because he stood closer to her. Nawen got the saddle, reins and stirrups on the horse easily though the animal looked a bit nervous. Maybe because he never saw her before and didn't know what to expect. The drow touched his nose gently with her hand and smiled warmly. "Rilbol orn tlu tenu." She said, stroking horse's head gently. "F'sarn naut aluin ulu jivviim dos." By hearing the elven language and Nawen's gentle voice the horse calmed down and licked her hand. The ranger smiled and led the horse out of the stables.
