Hazel chuckled as Shaori swept down and flew into the air with Rhaine, then turned to Xallistine, "I am glad you like it out here. If only you could see the spring flowers in bloom, your eyes would not know where to look. They are a breathtaking sight, no matter where one sees them."

Ianthe tilted her head to the side, curious, "Does it not feel strange to see the sky? You must be used to having a ceiling everywhere, right?"

Rhaine gasped, trying to still her fluttering heart, "I'm glad you do. Did I mention I'm afraid of heights?"

She shook her head vigorously, "All right. Whenever you all are ready, we should probably get down from this mountain and see if we can set up camp somewhere. We could all use food and drink, and we should discuss our next course of action. Judging from the sun, it will be dusk soon."

Rhaine smiled slightly, "Do not think much upon it. I...appreciate the sentiment."

She turned back to Ianthe, looking down at the wounded nymph, "Can you walk, Ianthe? We need to move off of this mountain as soon as possible. This place is a known haven for orc tribes, and we cannot afford an ambush."

Ianthe nodded. "My legs were only a little singed, thanks to the leather of my pants. I'm guessing it's why my belly wasn't hit that hard, either." She stood up, and tapped Caladus on the shoulder, "Help me remember to thank Byron for this cloak. Remarkably, it's unscathed. I guess it had a resist fire enchantment woven into it or something. I wish I'd have known that before, but I suppose the enchantment was forgotten about." She pulled a melted clump of metal off of one side of it, showing the cloak had indeed saved her from some harm, until the brooch had melted and it had come unclasped.

Rhaine looked to the Ulitharid, "Xallistine? Would you care to continue your journey with us? I will, of course, understand if you wish to return to your home. But you are more than welcome to join us wherever fate leads." Edited by AurianaValoria1
