Tales of Faerun

Shaori flew above the treetops to watch for signs of danger. She saw the dragon and circled it. Avariel often saw dragons, and usually got left alone, so long as they weren't hostile. The dragon swiped at her, but not in an overly aggressive way, more like it was saying "Shoo!" so she swooped back down.

Caladus gets to his feet and starts scouting as well. Nawen is ahead of him, but he just wants to walk through the trees again.

Rhaine began carefully picking her way down the mountainside. A rough trail had been blazed through the brush, but it was very steep and riddled with loose stones. A few goats stood on the crags, watching them with little interest as the group headed towards the Kryptgarden.

Shaori saw Nawen stop in a secluded area, and flew down and landed behind her. "This looks nice." She was still slightly giggly.

Caladus had moved on from the goats, and saw Shaori landing somewhere ahead. Caladus followed the direction and found a grove. He could see a small clear pond nearby, and went to check it for leeches and poison.

As Xallistine walked, slowly and weakly, taking in the views of the surface world, and getting used to it's soft Soils, his slave, Juno ran from the exit of the temple, and came to bow before Xallistine, an item wrapped in cloth in her hands "Master... we could sense you leaving the underdark... so we must give you this, as you have ordered it must remain with you... and we shall look after, and keep your home hidden my lord... thank you for being a kind master... you are not like the Illithid lord... you have a kind soul." She got up, hugged Xallistine, and walked slowly back up the path.

Xallistine looked at the item she had given him, and he held it in his arm, walking to the site of the camp.

When Rhaine finally caught up with Nawen and Caladus, she found herself in a pleasant little grove, complete with pond - as good a place as any to pitch camp. As she looked around, waiting on the others, she thought of the horses back at the Green Giant. She missed Angel dearly, but the old horse deserved her rest.
