Enjoying it so far (i find the DT to be a quite dumb mechanic tho), and with every fallout game i played, i always use mods to fix the games (and nothing else). I cam across this mod :https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45362/?tab=description I also came across another mod that was just fixing the Grunt perk, and i noticed in the readme that all the weapons are not covered, it lack, on the grunt perk, the red victory and great bear grenade rifles. ((long story short i downloaded fix for this perks and it conflicted))I also noticed that the sturdy caravan shotgun is not on the stay back perk list, too. (long story short i downloaded fix for this perks and it conflicted).On the comments, an user (drakkar123) also said "But I've also noticed a few items are still missing from various form lists, and it hasn't had any updates for 6 years now, so I'm not sure if it is still maintained. For example the GRA Tri-Beam Laser Rifle appears to be missing from the Laser Commander Form list, as are the recharger weapons, both normal and unique, and a couple of other items are missing from various other lists as well."Another used said that "pacienca" is missing from commander too So, here i am, can someone put those weapons in this mod? TL;DR : edit the aforementionned mod (Perk fixes @ https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/45362/?tab=description ) with :- the red victory and great bear grenade rifles on the grunt perk- GRA Tri-Beam Laser Rifle + recharger weapons (normals and uniques) to the laser commander perk- Sturdy Caravan Shotgun to the Stay back perk- Paciencia to the commander perk- + any missing weapon if you come across them Many, many, MANY thanks! If you can't track down the mod author and get permission to modify it, the copyright doesn't expire until after the life of the author plus 70 years. You need to wait a lot longer than 6 years. At the top of every page in the mod forums is a search function and it works very well. As for the age of the mod, it is still newer than the game. Zephkel Posted April 29, 2018 Author Share Posted April 29, 2018 (edited) I'm not suggesting anything, i want a mod with everything fixed at once to prevent conflict, as simple as that.I'm not a modder (so i'm not really aware of thoise conception bias) so you would have guessed, since you're so smart about unrelated thing, that in reality i was asking for something, and the method is up to anyone to figure.Also NVCE is not...that good, some "fixes" in it are silly or are downright not a fix. Nevermind anyway, i didnt suspect such nitpickery, you're really a tedious guy, playing on word more than anything :/. Like contributing would hurt you. Doesn't the unofficial patch fix the perks already? Mktavish Posted April 30, 2018 Share Posted April 30, 2018 Well I would suggest to study up on Perks / Entry Points / Conditions. Then just add your own condition (lists or weapon ID's ) there. And it should work right along side other plugin files because those are all perks found in the DLC masters. Just have yours load after the plugins that contain the new weapons. Not really that hard and you can tailor it to what you want , instead of someone guessing for you. Or getting in trouble by changing and publishing someone elses work. But since i've noticed those missing, i thought i might aswell share them (i don't play in VATS), for others people that might use it. I was in good faith.I don't think i can be the only one wanting an experience the closest possible from what was intended, and playing only with fixes (and QoL to some extent), like what YUP offers.Also that's what i've began to do (studying what you've said).
