Maharg67
Venture of the Celestial SerpentOne 2.1[3] The fifteen teenagers began to mingle, a little, with the hoblins. They spoke little of where they had come from except that it was very different in some ways from Tamriel and the world of Nirn that Tamriel was part of. Yet it was also the same in many ways from the seasons to the animals and much else. They did not have hoblins though their home world did have very many humans and other lifeforms. The exotic glowmosses growing on cave walls, and ceilings, impressed the Divinemors in a way that puzzled the hoblins, who took such things for granted. One of the Amamors wanted to examine some hoblins in a way that embarrassed, and annoyed them, until she offered to replicate some of the best of hoblin type booze for them. Compromises were made and there materialized 100 big clay jugs of 'cave lightening'. It was a kind of hard hitting booze loved by more than just hoblins and goblins. Part of the recipe was glowmoss. The Divinemors at once became most popular with all of the hoblin adults. The Fifteen Divinemors used strange metal boxy things to take special images and other recordings of the hoblins, their home caverns and each other. They projected 3D images onto flat areas of wall or holographic images into the air to show the hoblins what they had done, reassuring the cave people that their souls were not endangered and that they were not vulnerable to magical attack through the recordings. With some reluctance the Divinemors showed some views of their home world, of great domes covering lands of forest, lakes, farm crops and odd metallic castle like buildings of massive size. There were only distant views of people moving in odd metallic clothes or being driven in exotic magical machines that floated above the ground like saucers with transparent domes on top, in the middle. The hoblins were deeply enthralled, were amazed at the silvery hover-saucers, the hulking silvery humanoids of robots and much else that they could see. The matriarch smiled and nodded slowly as she examined what was there, perhaps seeing more than others of her people did. Maharg67
Venture of the Celestial SerpentOne 2.2[4] The Fifteen Divinemors set out with twenty hoblins as companions. The hoblins were mostly warriors but there were scouts and shamans (mages) amongst them along with a scribe who brought some basic scrolls of maps and writing along with line drawings of some important landmarks. Two stone-goblins went with them for they were considered to be equals as part of the tribe. The hoblins revealed that the ancient 'ruins' had a way of causing confusion in the minds of those seeking to enter it, including those who had already been there, hence any form of navigational assistance was welcome. To the surprise of the Divinemors, the matriarch went with them. Edited January 15, 2014 by Maharg67
Maharg67
DC Torchwood One 11.1[17] Juno Base Mysteries The expeditionary group was forced to be even more cautious from then on, thanks to the hard lesson learned with the encounter with the false Coopines. They knew, for sure now, that the parasitic creatures had come from Juno Base, from a foolish project carried out there before Doomsday. They also knew that the foolishness was linked to crash sites, of UFOs, to the north in Canada and that this was the real reason the USA had conquered Canada. Since the invasion had alienated the USA from most of the rest of the world, there had to have been a very good reason. It was one reason that when the USA was invaded, no real assistance came from outside. What had the US Federal Government, and USA based super corporations, been after? Advanced alien technologies to defeat their enemies and, perhaps, their former allies also. Perhaps they also wanted a way to defeat the zetans or any other alien threat that came along. What ever they had been seeking, they had clearly been as children playing with fire and had quickly got over their heads with their foolish projects. There was much more than could be found in Juno Base for the group was not even sure of just how large it was let alone the full extent of what had been happening there. Maharg67
Venture of the Celestial SerpentOne 3.1[4] Before the expeditionary group departed there were three special incidents. An Amamor, in her stylish leather like armor, took a hoblin baby into her arms and cuddled it to herself with a cool expression on her face but then she burst into tears and wept with the hoblin mother hugging her, with some difficulty. Then other Divinemors came and led Amamor Alinina away to a secluded spot, comforting her as they went. Palimor Tony started to shudder horribly, grimaced and snapped his helmet visor over his face even as he fell to his knees. Rangemor Hanz came to his aid and, taking out a small metallic gun like device, pressed against his bare arm. Then it made a soft thudding sound. The Palimor soon stood up, revealing his very handsome face as he did by pushing up his helmet visor. A patriarch hoblin went to Matriarch Vissha Goolrinta and bowed to her in respect. Vissha, who was sitting on a flat rock with her legs folded, nodded with a gentle smile. She spoke. "So you saw the truth before the warrior managed to hide his face."The patriarch did not seem surprised that Vissha already knew what had happened and also of the true appearance of the newcomers. "Can we assist them in any way?"Vissha smiled, nodded. "I have been making special potions for them. We must reveal the truth that we do not serve the Thirteen Divines, have not done so since the Nine Divines exposed the dreadful truth of what they really are and what their terrible plans are for Tamriel. I must also reveal my true nature. We hoblins can be careful how we deal with the Divinemors, at least the ones that are visible to us. I have glimpsed the Fifteenth Divinemor and dealing with that one must remain my responsibility amongst our people. Be generous with the Divinemors and give them good cheer as much as possible."The patriarch nodded acceptance, bowed in respect to his mother and then departed quickly.
