One 3.1[4]

It always puzzled Eddie how much the greater mass of people did not want to know about the deeper, darker, truths of the world that they lived in. Surely if the majority of people knew about such things they might just gather together and do something about it. Or was that just wishful thinking?

Eddie got off a public transit bus at the Midland Bus-Train Station and switched over to a sleek looking electric commuter train. Soon it was humming smoothly along even as he sat quietly and studied his smartphone screen. A texted message was a coded warning that three young, dangerous, exotic assassins had arrived in Perth and were out to kill him. It was not exactly the most thrilling of news but it was far from the first time he had gained such a warning.

It was most like that the assassins were genetically engineered natural born killers, as he was. The trick was to find out just what faction, or subfaction, had sent them. Information was everything in the secret world that he was active in. He also wondered if the attempt to terminate him was somehow linked to the failed attempt to kill the US President. He could not see how it would be but he had been involved with Americans before in covert operations. His activation could also be linked with the destruction of Air Force One.

He would be surprised if the three hunter-killers did not know where he lived. He also wondered how many hunter-seekers were out there, trying to find him in a less aggressive manner so as to mark him for the hunter-killers.

He got off at the next station and went into a public toilets, for men, and to the end booth to his left. It was firmly locked and marked 'not working' but his master key opened it easily enough. Inside was a fake toilet and a foul smell producing machine that stopped people from trying to use the toilet. From the fake cistern he gained a case of special gear that he placed in his compact backpack. Then he went down through a hatch that meant pushing the fake toilet to one side. Of course the fake toilet went back into place.

There were far more tunnels beneath the great city than most people knew. Soon he was dropping down into the Perth Sewer Tunnel Network that had been constructed in the second half of the 19nth Century. He landed on a raised walkway to one side of the tunnel and was soon heading for where he would pick up the mission instructions.

Uncle Leo stood facing Marshal Tang who was tied to a chair. He spoke. "Did you really think that I could not 'sense' the truth that you are not the son of Alma but her clone-son. I doubt that she even knows that you exist. You were cloned from genetic materials taken from her and I doubt it was with her permission or even with her awareness of what happened. Vestia, Kestia and Lestia are clone-daughters of Alma. You spoke truth when you said you are not a follower of Alma or Juno. So who do you really serve?"

"We do not know who, or what, it is that we serve!" Marshal Tang shrugged. "We get our orders, we follow those orders as best we can, and otherwise we stay as concealed as we can. We infiltrated the US Federal Government before Doomsday which was a tricky business since by then the USFG had become almost insanely paranoid; it had good reason to be for it had already discovered many threats facing it, including infiltrators deep inside its own bodies. We managed to get into the United States Defense Research Development Corp with even more difficulty."

Uncle Leo nodded. "What is the father-mother of Alma?"

Tang scowled with distaste. "Apart from something hellish that should never have been created, it is known as Biocyorg101. We do not know why it has the '101' on its name for we know of there being only one of its kind. It is a thirteen entities that are one entity. It is amazingly lethal and powerful. We do not know how it was created, by whom or why."

Uncle Leo nodded. "I picked up some interesting psychic impressions from you while you talked. The Soviets created you, and the three clone-daughters, in a hidden complex somewhere in China. They then sent you into the USA in status-capsules in a Soviet stealth-submarine. The Russian, and Chinese, Soviet scientists hoped that you would be able to find Alma thanks to your genetic link with her. I suspect that they wished to destroy Alma and not to use her. There is a hint of exotic forces assisting them in their plans."

He snapped his fingers and the ropes, that bound Marshal Tang, vanished away. It had been a strong, clever, solid illusion as projected by the massive behemoth psyker. "I suspect that the Soviets will not be sending you any more orders though I do not know why I get that strong impression."

One 4.1[5]

Three young people as one as three, they=she moved like gawking young Asian teenagers, fresh from the massive metropolis of HongYork in short skirts and button-tops looking adorably sexy. They were not alone in that, there being many such Asian teen-girls fresh from PanAsian cities daring to wear items they could not in their home cities. Exposed cleavages, smooth bare legs and big warm smiles got them plenty of service along with being mildly exploited with the sale of over priced souvenirs.

Through the airport they giggled, wiggled, and smiled their way. Almost none even considered that they might be elite assassin clones let alone a triclone entity. Two trained observers spotted danger and reported it while a smiling old oriental man met them being their 'uncle'.

Uncle Han played the overly friendly doting relative who strongly hinted he wanted to do more with his nieces, the official triplets, than just be the kindly carer. In other words he showed himself up to be a dirty old man who led the three teens through the last of the airport terminal complex and into a big almost old fashioned hybrid-electric sedan.

Once inside the polarized armor glassed vehicle the 'old man' and 'teen girls' became cold eyed professionals. He was their current handler and they were high-elite killers.

He spoke in the internationalist language known as Esperanto. "This is a hard target you are going against. He gives the overt impression of being not so dangerous but Lucky Eddie, using his in game name, is one of the most successful high-elite assassins there has ever been. He has also remained one of the most elusive and it remains seemingly impossible to learn much about him. Your assignment is made harder because this is his home base where he is supported by a large, high-elite security intelligence network that is dedicated to him and some like him. Do not underestimate him."

The three, very attractive, young women nodded almost as one. They were officially Lucy, Wendy and Kerry in 'English' terms.

DC Torchwood
One 39.1[59]

Jack, Gwen, Ianto, Owen and Pointman found another way into the impossible chamber. They found themselves walking along a series of stairs that turned, changed, impossibly in gravity terms like some illusionary 3D looking puzzle that was actually a 2D picture. They seemed to get amazingly close to the Doctor's TARDIS, if it was the TARDIS, only to find some kind of barrier halting them.

Graham Maharg came seemingly out of nowhere and with him were five powerful looking figures, being three women, and two men. They looked human but they were Timelordite Warriors who had escaped from the Time War waged between the Timelords and the rogue Timemasters. The Timemasters had once been Timelords until forced into the Nullvoid as prisoner exiles. Some had escaped and had begun a sequence of events that led to the Time War.

Graham Maharg, the Mysterious Stranger, spoke. "The Doctor, and a few of his companions, are trapped in his TARDIS. These Timelordite Warriors served the Timelords during the Time War. They observed the vanishing of Gallifrey itself, the vanishing of most of the Timelords and peoples who served them. They are part of a large network that has been trying to find the Doctor, also known as Doctor Chronos, for a very long time. Yet they are willing to help deal with our current problems, especially if we then help them get into the DocTARDIS."

The DocTARDIS?

Jack shook his head wryly. "Never heard it called that before. Do you know what appearance the Doctor has or what companions are with him?"

Graham Maharg shook his head. "No! I do suspect strongly that what drew Doctor Chronos here also reintroduced him to many of his former companions and also new ones. What drew him was Alma, Juno and Biocyorg101 along with the presence of the Graynari and some of their own monstrous supersoldiers, the Graytari, that are worse than the Graynari in many ways. I suspect strongly that the Doctor thinks there was, is, a powerful subtle link between the event that created the Graynari and the Time War; that is a kind of an amazingly powerful, exotic, artifact that was brought back from the realm of undeath where the Narcarastaaa traveled to on its ill fated voyage. I do not know if the artifact went there with the Tritanari vessel or was found in that other exotic mirror realm of the living."

A very large fishbowl floated past with two big fish that looked like goldfish except that they were copperish colored.

So a new alliance was formed!

Juno Base Mysteries

The group worked hard to reach the DocTARDIS, which was Graham Maharg's name for the Doctor's TARDIS but one used many increasing numbers of people. They at last got to the doors, largely thanks to Graham Maharg's efforts, and were in a force field bubble on a disk shaped platform of invisible hardness. While the others rested, it had been a hard effort, Graham Maharg worked on opening the TARDIS.

At last it happened and they stepped into a chamber that was clearly larger on the inside than on the outside. It was the entrance lobby to the DocTARDIS being a great big chamber of many mixed features. Jack shook his head, looking perplexed.

The Mysterious Stranger spoke to him reassuringly. "I now understand your confusion. This Doctor comes from an alternate universe to the one you know but also from far in the future life of the Doctor."

She came towards the newcomers, smiling and looking sexually attractive in a leather outfit that left much smooth skin exposed. She had a big lot of brown hair that flowed all over. She smiled as she came to a halt to speak in a sexy, warm, voice. "Hello, I am RiverSong Chronos, the wife of the Doctor. The name 'Chronos' is optional." She turned to Jack. "You are handsome, sweetie, but you can stop looking at me like that for I am for the Doctor. He is in the main control chamber trying to work out how to free the DocTARDIS from this impossible place. My sweetie thinks that the chamber may have been built to trap a TARDIS or something else that otherwise could not be held."

Gwen frowned softly at Jack and then nodded at RiverSong. "I didn't know TimeLords married!"

River Song sighed. "Oh, sweetness, TimeLords have to have children to continue their generations and marriage is the legal way of inheritance as it is with other peoples. You are attractive! Unlike poor Jack and Owen, you are also living a normal existence." She turned to Pointman. "I know a supersoldier when I meet one."

Graham Maharg nodded. "He is Pointman, one of the major players in the Alma situation."

RiverSong nodded to Pointman. "Not just a supersoldier but an elite supersoldier with special abilities. We have some things in common; though I was born a standard human I was abducted and transformed into a super-assassin sent to kill the Doctor." She smiled. "Instead I married him and had three of his children."

Pointman nodded. "My mother is Alma; we have tried to kill each other on many occasions. I grew up in a secret underground complex that was part fortress, part research-development centre and parts many other things. By the time I was 20 years old I had killed over 1,000 people."

RiverSong sighed. "Same here except the secret complex was out in deep space. Yes, over 1,000 people also by the age of 20!"

Gwen shook her head in wonder. "The multiverse can be a terrible place for children. I had things easy compared to you two; I had only killed five people by the time I was 20."

Jack gave Gwen a look of surprise. "Well well, you are always full of surprises."

Not this Earth

One 5.1[6]

Eddie fired his 12.7mm calibre superbang autopistol and the powerful bullet blew a hole in the nearest growler, despite the body-armor that the basic genetically engineered kill-creature wore.

Growlers were officially called zetmans. In clothes, body-armor and-or other such gear they looked like hulking short men except being hairless. In truth they were sexless. Eddie was not sure if he was more angry at having mere growlers set after him or having anybody trying to murder him.

He dived as a handgrenade flew through the air towards him with the great strength of a growler and he fired a second round off. The superbang, despite its name, was surprisingly quiet for such a powerful pistol. It also had excellent flash suppression along with other fine features. All of this was to be much appreciated while one was fighting for one's life.

The weapon had a fixed magazine for two extra cartridges; they could just be spare super-standards or of special nature. He rolled behind a wall, across the metal walkway, as the fragmentation handgrenade exploded. Even as he rolled he fired off a special boombang bullet that exploded grenade fashion as it struck a wall. It sprayed small, but very deadly, fletchettes towards more coming growlers.

Growler field teams always had at least one handler but Eddie had detected none so far. If he could have killed, the growler handler, the growler team would have been less effective. Getting an opening, a chance to escape the ambush that should not have happened, he took it and dived into the flowing sewerage canal of the tunnel. Thankfully it was largely water thanks to modern flush toilets. Soon he was swimming underwater while trying to avoid hitting too many nasty surprises.

DC Torchwood
One 43.1[61]

The Doctor came striding into the chamber, a big grin on his red-brown face, and his black leather jacket being almost shiny with its finish. This was indeed a very different Doctor. He wore denim jeans, cowboy boots and a thick leather belt with two large revolver-pistols in holsters. He also had other items on his belt such as a big knife, in a sheaf, a small canteen and a few pouches.

Jack shook his head. "The Wild West Doctor gone cowboy!"

"Why not, I say!" Doctor Chronos grinned. "Got this outfit when I last regenerated. You should have met my last regeneration; she was a wild one."

Gwen showed her surprise. "I did not know the Doctor was ever a woman."

The TimeLord halted. "I come from an Alternate Universe where I, the Doctor, alternates between the male and female gender along with various racial appearances. It is a long story but it started after a curious adventure in which the only way I could survive was to change the nature of my regenerations. My poor wife, RiverSong here, has to put up with some interesting changes."

RiverSong smiled. "I like the changes!"

The Doctor turned to the Mysterious Stranger. "Together we should be able to free the DocTARDIS from this trap that it is in. I have all thirteen K9s working on the problem along with other robots and androids."

Jack nodded. "Nine K9s, that is impressive. Our Doctor has only one K9!"

RiverSong sighed. "Your Doctor vanished in the last stages, of a Time War, with the daleks that took place in your Alternate Universe. It is feared that he, and the others that were in his TARDIS, were destroyed. He had picked up many thousands of refugees from his version of Gallifrey including actual TimeLords. RiverSong will show you to a chamber where you can rest, be briefed with important data, and do what ever else you need to do. Graham Maharg, and I, need to join the Romana Triplets in the main control chamber area. They are also TimeLords and, are, in some ways smarter than I am. You will meet some interesting companions such as Leela the Amazon, Tegan the Australian Stewardess and Jagana the green two headed woman from Stressetta Nine."

RiverSong smiled. "The Romana Triplets are only smarter in some ways, husband. Please follow me, all of you but Graham Maharg and Doctor Chronos."

New automatic justifications of confused states of mind!

You say you know what it means but you do not know what it means to mean what you say it means!

I can look you in the eye, blindfolded, and speak knowingly, with my mouth closed, of things that I know nothing of!

Be off with you, shoes and socks, for you have clung to me for too long!

Quick, look behind you, for there lurks something that is not in front of you!

You are the tomato sauce on my meat pie, the cream on top of my English tea scone, the tophat on top of my shiny bold head!

Beware of that thing of which you need to be most wary of for it is wearing a disguise so as to cause you to be less wary of it!

My brain is starting to implode, with 'my cleverness', so I am stopping here here here here......
