So this young man he did walk out of darkness

and in him was bitterness deep

blackest of rages verging on hate

but courage enough to know he must choose

his fate

to find the light or keep plunging to the dark

angel or demon he could be

but not both

until the last great war

of heaven and hell

has riven the very fates!!!

I love thee!!!

I love thee like a summer breeze that cools me on the hottest day

I love thee like a fine hot chocolate drink before a warm blazing fire on the coldest winter night

I love thee enough to know that you love me also

but really do you have to go on so much about me leaving the toilet seat down!!!

and what if I do have a few Playboy magazines in my socks drawer

I just don't understand why you keep picking on me!!!

Battletanks on the Moon #1

Massive battletanks moved easier in the Lunar lower gravity even as both sides fired off big cannons, rocket launchers and other weapons at each other. The great flat, open areas, that were a large part of the moon, allowed for those massive warmachines to move more easily but they had to halt, to bring down bracing devices, before they fired off powerful weapons. That was because of the lighter gravity.

Smaller battletanks moved also, along with infantry in armoured moonsuits, as the Soviet Pact fought the Western Alliance, the red star against the blue star. Explosions flashed, throwing up clouds of dirt, but nothing burned thanks to the vacuum. The red, and blue, infantry kept low for only their moonsuits protected them against death including that of aphixiation. Those, in the warmachines, had moonsuit protection along with that of machine armour.

The WA sergeant fired off his GPMG (general purpose machinegun) from the hip, just a single long burst, before he dropped behind a wall of sandbags. He doubted he had hit anything having fired to keep SP helmets down while the WA forces attempted to make a meaningful push. Guns were relatively over powerful on the moon and so had to be used with great care. Snipers were extra deadly in that they could shoot far further with greater ease thanks to both lesser gravity and lack of atmospheric resistance.

The sergeant did not even agree with the stupid war especially as their was plenty room, for both sides, on Luna but none of the high and mighty were going to listen to him.

A soft shuddering ran through the ground and then another followed the third. The warmachines ceased fire as the third shudder was even more powerful than the first two. Then they began to withdraw, reversing or turning to go back to friendly zones.

Deeply puzzled, and somewhat fearful, Sergeant Andy Brown of New York City, hand signalled his troops to follow him in their part of the general retreat. Which was when the ground opened up in front of them and up, out, of the Lunar underground 'they' came swarming.

Battletanks on the Moon #2

Powerful selenite created, genetically engineered, fighting creatures attacked the WA Army Forces with amazing savagery and drive. It was only later learned that in each battle creature was ensconced a guiding selenite pilot.

Forced back, in a fighting retreat, the blue stars were surprised as much by the exotic fighting style, of the newcomers, along with their biological weapons of spine projectiles, barbs, pincers, acid spit, pincer-blades and others not fully defined.

The WA forces learned quickly enough about the nature of the enemy as alien telepathic messages were blasted at their minds. The Selenite Imperium considered a large part of the Lunar Surface to belong to them and were not happy that the human war had taken up a large area of its territories. It was these messages, and not their human enemies, who informed the WA that the SP Forces were also being attacked by selenite forms. The red stars were also being forced back.

With great reluctance a wary alliance was soon being formed between the two human forces.

Sergeant Andy Brown cursed human arrogance, hubris and ignorance for the starting of a war on Luna before deeper investigating of the moon had been carried out. Fear and greed had driven the invasions of both sides. He crouched in his large battletank as it drove, in reverse, even as its less powerful weapons fired again and again.
