Transferred from Zippity Zip-A-Long.

An angel soared high in the velvet blue of skies long carved from fate's climatic destiny.

Above a landscape of hellish chaos.

So close and yet so distant from its own nature.

Eternal Game of Games: the Human Focus

One.1

Zero 1.1[1]{1}

ShagosKita shook his great metallic wings, vaguely bat like but not meant for flying in the manner of such creatures. "We-I tire of these endless duties overseeing what does not need to be overseen. We-I are thousands that are one but are outnumbered by the hover-eyes, the handler-spiders, the sentry-floaters that do very well with out our input."

The great capsuletowers loomed ever upwards with their metallic flesh like sides vanishing into a great, endless, embankment of bizarre yellow-brown fog. Thousands of spidery metallic flesh things clambered over its sides, over the semitransparent body-capsules that mostly contained bodies of different sizes, though the capsules were all the same size. Globular round 'eye' dotted globes floated through the air in the same kind of numbers. Deadly appearing armoured monstrosities did the same, though in smaller numbers; each was much bigger, more powerful, than either of the other kinds of biomechanical things.

Bodies glimpsed inside were human bodies, in other types of capsules of other towers, were nonhumans. Some were even plants. There were hundreds, perhaps thousands, of these vaguely phallic capsuletowers stretching into the distance so that the more distance ones were but vague, grey, shapes. Beyond that they were not even visible at all.

SerrisKita shook his head. "The subqueen would not be pleased by your words. Do you we we-I to be excluded from the next mating rounds out of punishment? We must have patience, have faith in the Queen's Great Plans for our people of peoples. She must have excellent reason to cooperate with the 'ugly energy ones'."

Yet, having said such, SerrisKita found that he was also tarnished with the same doubts causing his own wings to make small jittery, uncomfortable, motions of agitation. Behind it all was growing fears about the sanity of the SitisaKita Queen, of the SitishKita People of Peoples. Would there be, for the first time in thousands of dynastic cycles, a rebellion amongst the SitishKita? The idea was a most uncomfortable one.
