audiodef
I'm going through the vanilla Message section in the CK and changing some stuff, and I noticed that for Curie, some of the messages are titled with Codsworth. Is this a Bethesda mistake or was this intentional for some reason? EDIT: Seeing the same thing for Danse. I'm thinking it was just a copy/paste oversight. I don't think this affects anything, but was curious anyway. Edited May 8, 2018 by audiodef
Reginald001
I don't see any problem, unless you're searching for things to pick on. This has no bearing whatsoever on the functionality and these are mostly either unused messages, or their titles are not displayd.. so again, not relevant. Yulliah
Not to be crude, but it sounds a bit like when I clean and tidy my kitchen, my mom walks in, opens a cupboard and starts complaining I didn't make all the cups' ears face the same way... At which point I just say: Get out of my house!
SKKmods
What you are seeing is the reality of non life-cycled commercial content development, reusing common templates and shipping just working stuff on a budget. It is irritating when trying to unpick dependencies and the same object has multiple naming conventions (e.g. quest MQ102 is also MQ03) ... but this stuff was clearly not developed with any expense on maintainability. audiodef
My original question was whether this was intentional, not to nitpick. I have concluded that it was an oversight. Edited May 8, 2018 by audiodef
