Sevatar537
Been using MO2 for over a year now without any problems. Tried downloading a mod this morning and can't get it to connect to nexus. I've updated to the most recent version and tried nxmhandler.exe and it's still not working. Now whenever I try to download a file with mod manager I get the error message: "failed to request file info from nexus: Host nmm.nexusmods.com not found", despite entering the correct username and password (i've checked and re-checked) and I have no idea how to fix it. Anyone have any ideas?
Psilocybinje
If we're the only ones experiencing this I'm going to guess you live on the east coast of Canada somewhere? Maybe eastern US? None of my mod organizers including NMM will connect to Nexus right now, kind of annoying, I wanted to start up a New Vegas run because it's been a couple years but screw playing it vanilla and screw manually installing everything. Guess I'll play a bit more FO4 even though I find it to be inferior. Edited May 11, 2018 by Psilocybinje

Kenepaken
Same for germany. I tried reinstalling MO and even NMM. NMM logs in without any problems, MO won't. Edited May 11, 2018 by Kenepaken
DarkRudra
There have been changes to the Nexus servers in the past few days that shut down the old nmm.nexusmods.com address. There are new versions of Mod Organizer 2 and NMM that correct this problem for each of them. You'll need to go download the update for whichever program you use. Kenepaken
Wow, that did fix it. It was the first thing i tried two days ago. Either the update didnt work properly, or there was a new one since then. Thanks a lot !
JimmyRJump
There have been changes to the Nexus servers in the past few days that shut down the old nmm.nexusmods.com address.Under new European regulations, all intenet traffic must use the HTTPS protocol. Nexus download servers switched from HTTP to HTTPS as of 8 May but older versions of NMM still use HTTP and can no longer communicate with said servers, hence the updates of NMM. MO2 probably needed the same update to use the HTTPS protocol.
RhaevynHart
I just reinstalled MO2. I restarted my machine, I recycled modem and router. I was even tempted to do an Irish Jig if that would help. MO2 refuses to let me log into Nexus. I have my paths set correctly. I can log into Nexus in browser (obvs!). I can even download mods. They go right into the downloads tab with the progress bar and let me install normally. What I can't do is use the check all for updates function. This is vital, to all of us, because who wants to manually check 200 some odd mods? I have my Nexus User Name and Password input correctly into MO2 (because I carefully did it four separate times). For the life of me I can't get this to work. Yes, I'm aware of the big hoohah with the new EU security/privacy whatever going on, but according to this thread here the new version should have rectified the secure connection (https:). So... anyone? What gives?
Nick15104
I had the same problem. I fixed it by reinstalling mod organizer and launching the installer as administrator by right clicking and selecting "run as administrator".
