roadbum Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 Just started playing MW again and for the life of me I can't find the saved game folder (I want to delete a few games) If you know let me know too. Thanks
Oblivionaddicted Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 For me it has always been in the saves folder in the games directory. Did you make a search using the quicksave keyword?
roadbum Posted May 24, 2018 Author Posted May 24, 2018 Search brought up quicksave all right but nothing that I was looking for. Seriously, I've been through my whole computer and come up with nothing I thought the game folder was in documents but no.

Dragon32 Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 If Morrowind's installed in Program Files you could be running into folder virtualisation. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/927387/common-file-and-registry-virtualization-issues-in-windows-vista-or-in

ThanksStart Windows Explorer aka File Manager in Windows 3.x in Windows and search for "*.ess" without quotes for the partition you have Morrowind installed. .ess stands for Elderscrolls Save The * means that it doesn't matter what filename a gamesave in Morrowind has and combined that with the file extension .ess, is exactly what you need to type when searching for the gamesaves in Morrowind. But remember the .ess file extension are also used for both Oblivion and Skyrim too, so be careful about what gamesave you delete. The only difference there is between these three games is that only Morrowind has a separate Saves folder while the other TES games has not.
