Plugin Priorities

I apologize in advance for a really dumb post.

Starting about last build I can not find any way to get Vortex to display / set global and local priorities on plugins.

It is not a column heading, and double clicking on the entry lets you lock to a specific Mod Index - but no priority.

Was this facility removed - or am I just not clicking the right options?

Thanks!

Either create your own group (button "Manage Groups" on the top name it sth like "Load Last" and put it at the end of the graph) and assign that group to the mod.

Or just use the group "Dynamic Patches" for the mod, that causes it to be sorted at the end of the list.

Thanks - both of those will work.

One thing I really miss in Vortex regarding plugin priorities is the ability to temporarily move a plugin to the top of my mod list temporarily, specifically so I can filter for conflict losers in SSEEDIT knowing that it's going to lose all conflicts in that position. Then after updating my patches for it I can use Loot to move it back to where I really want it to be.

Currently it's very hard to get a plugin to move to the top or bottom of your load order since it seems to ignore priority completely and base it's positioning entirely on required masters + rules defined in Vortex rather than following what Loot does. If I sort with Loot and check my mod list and then sort again with Vortex, I will end up with 2 completely different lists with mods near the top of 1 list appearing near the bottom of the other and vice versa.

It has been recommended by Tannin ( directly to me in another thread ) that if you sort with Vortex, you should not sort with LOOT. If you want LOOT, then turn off auto-sort in Vortex and use LOOT.

Regarding moving plugins to the top of the list or anywhere else, I cannot advise on that since I have not had the need to use the last functions - Groups - and I have not had the need to use SSEEdit to resolve any conflicts. To be honest, the only thing I have done is to resolve rules when installing/enabling mods in the MODS tab, let Vortex to auto-sort my Plugins ( in the PLUGINS tab ) and play my game and let me tell you, so far so good. Just because Manage Dependencies and Groups are there, does not means that I must use them UNLESS, there are some troubles while playing my game and again, so far, I have not had any trouble but I do understand your point.
