Feature request: duplicate a mod to Skyrim SE AGAIN

The story is like this: I deleted one of my own mod duplicates when someone else kindly took over porting and maintaining the SE port. So, you know, no need for me to compete with him there. They don't seem to be active lately any more, though, nor answer private messages, so I'm considering doing my own SE port after all.

Thing is, the site doesn't check if the duplicate actually exists any more. I have a "See in Skyrim SE" link that goes to a "not found" page, and I can't duplicate again even if I do my own URL editing to call the duplication, because it thinks a duplicate already exists. Well, no it doesn't. Not any more.

Can someone please edit that piece of code to check if that mod actually exists in the database? Thanks.

What do you mean with "I deleted one of my own mod duplicates" ? Did you delete a mod from the Nexus that you uploaded, or are you talking about files you deleted from your computer?

If you want to go through with making that port, then simply upload it as a new mod when it's finished.

@Pickysaurus

Thanks. It's the Secret Of The Silver Blades

Well, I mean I was happily making mods for the old Skyrim, when the option to copy all of them to Skyrim SE came up, and I figured I'd click it. Those empty SSE mods are the duplicates I talk about.

Then I decide that meh, I'm not gonna actually port any of that, since I didn't actually play SE at the time. So they stay just empty and hidden for the rest of the world.

Some time later, a kind soul offers to port and maintain the Secret Of The Silver Blades to SE for me. Which was very welcome and appreciated.

Some more time passes by, and on a dark and stormy night, and it may have been after a couple of bottles of nord mead, I go and delete my own empty copy of Secret Of The Silver Blades to SSE, since, well, someone else was doing that. Not much point in having my own SE copy.

Some more time passes by, and it seems he's not active on the site any more, so I'm starting to idly consider publishing my own port to SE anyway. Especially since they've been actually SSE-compatible since version 1.27b of the mod anyway.

And now I'd like to be able to click on that "Duplicate to SE" link again, if some kind soul can activate it for me again.

Mind you, I'm still hoping that he'd come back and maintain his port, instead of me making my own. I'm lazy. I like other people doing my work for me :tongue: But if not, I might get off my lazy butt and do the work myself.
