BlueGunk
What is this please? https://postimg.cc/image/ycczai5sr/ It happened off the Fallout 4 site, wanting to look at a Forum set for a mod.Using latest Chrome on Win 10, AVG as anti-virus. It is on the Phylight mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/25740?tab=posts I've checked PC for virus and malware and comes up clean. JimboUK
A link to the offending page would help staff remove it should they deem it necessary.
BlueGunk
Ermmmm - it's already there? In my post. Above. Phylight mod - posts pageGo to the page, click "Forum Thread" in the posts list to see the Forum and warning flashes up. Other mod pages seem OK. axonis
This has nothing to do with the mod. A user is linking an image from a site that Chrome thinks its dangerous.
JimboUK
That's a well known site, Google flags sites as unsafe once in a while for no good reason, it's done it to the Nexus before. @BlueGunk You edited that link in after I suggested you post it, why do that and then pretend it was there to start with? BlueGunk
OK so it is a false positive - that's good to know and thanks. It's the first time I have come across this particular warning in years of using the Nexus. Sorry, jim_uk. When I added the Phylight page details to my post, I didn't notice any post from you, so the two must have crossed or we were typing at the same time, or my glasses were on upside down. :geek:I added the lines about the virus scan results in a later edit. That's why I was puzzled over your post later. Apols if I offended you - completely unintentional. No pretense or anything. Probably senility on my behalf being rather aged... I answered your question.

tomomi1922
This may be unrelated to main topic, but when in doubt about a link, use an iOS device to check out the link. That would be an iphone or ipad. iOS has such rigid security that it would be impossible for app to sideload anything onto the device without your physical permission (you have to press something to confirm install of an app). And even after installation, you would have to go to Settings to "Trust" the company of the app installed. THEN you have to click on that app for it to run. THEN for accessing any of your information, photos, address book, camera, GPS location, etc... iOS will have to prompt you for permission. Just make sure your device is not jail broken. So if a link comes up with such warning. Pull out your phone to check it out.
