Where do I start?

Hi. I recently got FO:NV for the first time on PC. Besides the DLCs, I've played most of it on the PS3. You could say I'm a veteran modder, as I've modded Oblivion and Skyrim, so installing isn't an issue.

 

Basically, I'm just trying to make the game look prettier, as well as add new content (armour, weapons, quests, etc.). I don't have the time right now to look through the entire nexus, so I was hoping to get a list of "essentials", you know, a body mod, face mod, new textures, maybe a lighting mod, as well as anything else you can think of. I'm also open to any popular overhauls. Thanks in advance.

For textures I'll go with http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/43135 (Ill go for small if you don't have the best pc)

For lighting look up ELECTRO-CITY - Relighting the Wasteland http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/37908

 

For armor get TG armor overhaul( I think that what its called)

the others just do a little research at the end of the day,,its personal choice.

Start? The top 100 mods of all time. I'd also follow Gopher's New Vegas Mod Clinic on youtube, as well as his installation guide for all the essentials.

 

LOL why didn't I just do that thanks dude that could of saved me a lot of time.

Breezes New Vegas Males

 

Best female and male body replacer out there IMO.

 

Custom races and hairstyles:

Mojave Delight for Type3

MOJAVE DELIGHT Ginger Edition

 

Best custom races (female) you simply can't fail to create good looking characters with these IMO.

 

Overhaul:

It adds lots of features, just make sure to use all of it's modules.

Weapons mod expanded (get the P.N. patch fr the weapons it adds)

Fallout 3 weapon restoration (WMX patch)
