IndyJacksonTT
I was looking to get some cloak physics for my game and was wondering if there was a way to install HDT physics in SE without having to download all genitalia models. Could someone give me a step by step tutorial on how to download it for SE, or link me to a video?
Deleted55545892User
There's one available in Chinese... that some people have managed to get working.. but you have to know Chinese to even login to the site that has it. And as far as we know, people can't repost it without permission... which you need to know Chinese to do as well. lol
Algabar
Could someone give me a step by step tutorial on how to download it for SE, or link me to a video? There are videos on youtube and also some written guides/explanations on Loverslab. A quick internet search will show them. Problem is, that HDT is still in alpha stage for Skyrim SE. And cloak physics aren't top priority for most people working with it... AFAIK, there are working conversions of single cloaks. But that's all rather experimental stuff. So for the moment, no easily available and "ready to use" HDT yet...
PeterMartyr
HDT-PE doesn't work, you need hdtSkinnedMeshConfigs. Just sayin.
TheWilloughbian
HTD SMP seems to be working alright. It only really works for body and armour, though. Any HDT hair has to be a wig and all the bugs with that haven't been sorted out. The hair meshes are doubled and can look weird. That Chinese site isn't to bad if you have a translator for your web browser. The main push to get things going on an English speaking site is on LL (NSFW), but they have made some good progress. There are some decent SMP cloak/cape conversions, but you kind of have to hunt for the files. Someone did Cloaks of Skyrim, but I haven't tested it yet. It looks cool once you have it running, but you'll have to know what you are doing. Be ready to edit a lot of XMLs and hunt for information. Deleted55545892User
Man, hopefully the next TES has this built in (built in cloaks..as well as the physics.. Even their statues had cloaks but default Skyrim did not). We shouldn't have to do silly things like this.
TheWilloughbian
Yeah, it takes a certain determination and you have to enjoy converting armours to SSE. Unfortunatly it hasn't really caught on here on nexus mods yet. And Most of the conversions that have been done are in private collections still. It's not bad once you have it set up and Hydrogen keeps up with the updates. Just make sure you keep back ups of the previous versions. Every once and a while an update is bugged and will break things that once worked. That's not usually an issue though and it gets fixed quickly. It's not like the mod is unsupported. it's just supported in Chinese. :D
