CTD when opening an inventory...

I'm trying to copy a mod list. Every so often, the list creator advises to start up game to check that everything is working. I just did that and find that every time my new character tries to check her inventory, there is a CTD. (I've done this several times now; the problem repeats.) What kind of mod conflict could cause this?

A sorting mod, a mod that changes the models of an inventory item that's displayed, a mod that has the wrong path to a texture or mesh, an inventory mod etc.
