RumblestrutPig
Like how the title says, with the most recent update, Steam has decided to break Skyrim for me. Ever since I updated Steam after playing Skyrim last night I can no longer launch SKSE from MO and receive the following error: "Steam Error Application Load Error P:65432". I researched more into this problem that I was experiencing hoping to discover an easy fix but NO. This is what I found. 1. Log out and log back in. - Failed2. Restart Steam - Failed3. Offline Mode - Failed From what others said as well, completely reinstalling Skyrim and Steam did not work for them, nor verifying the game cache files. I don't usually have a problem with Steam but now I do! Thanks a lot for the shitty update! Anyone know a solution/experiencing this for themselves? HadToRegister
If Skyrim updated last night, then you need to wait for a new version of SKSE to work with the new version of Skyrim, and you also need to wait for new versions of all the mods that rely on SKSE to update as well. You should turn of AUTO UPDATE on your Steam Games, so, once again, you'll have to wait for a new version of SKSE and new versions of the mods that rely on it. RumblestrutPig
No, I don't have any of the Family View options enabled. About that site, I'm not quite sure how this would solve my Skyrim problem as for the error solution is only for Fallout New Vegas or am I missing something? wfandrews
Try validating your master files. Go to Steam and delete appcache; I believe this is what jessegtgt meant, delete Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini in Documents/My Games/Skyrim, then shut down computer for five or ten minutes to let hooks reset. Start up computer and verify game files. After files have downloaded start game from Steam launcher; this will create the files you have deleted. If you have cleaned your Update and DLC esms you will need to clean them again. Also if you have altered your ini files you will have to make those changes once more. This is usually the first thing I try if my game goes squirrely after it has run smoothly for a while. Does not always work but it is surprising how often it has. Also, it is a relatively simple and fast thing to try before other more complicated fixes.
Deleted21550714User
I meant clear download cache. It a big button in steam. Settings, download tab, and boom, you find "clear download cache" I clear mine every 4-6 months.
