Huh, interesting. Wonder what will come of this? Probably is the second DLC, but who knows, but a DLC where conjuration plays a big part would be nifty. Good news none the less! Thanks for the link. What's everyone else think?

Too early for that, Beth hasn't decided on a second DLC. This is probably something in Dawnguard.

How can you be so sure of that?

Dawngaurd is practically done and if you think that game devs don't plan out the next DLC while making the previous one......... well then you don't know much about game development.

It's not done, they just revealed it. After they reveal it, they make it. They won't give details until E3, which is further proof it's still not done, not even close. And they won't officially release or reveal or even begin an expansion pack or DLC until they release the current one. DLC is made in the same format of a game. You don't see a company making one game right after they release another.

I don't know much of game development? And how do you know you know anything about it? Bethesda has a lot to do right now, I doubt they're already working on a second DLC when the first is still bound to be in the works. This pack is probably the same size, if not bigger, than the Shivering Isles, which took months to make. Let's see, Dawnguard was revealed in March, so that puts us two months since revelation? Hmph, I doubt they're done. Not even by a longshot.

I'd bet a lot on Hearth Fire being maybe apart of Dawnguard or some kind of small pack (like maybe some extra spells or something) and not an official expansion pack consisting of new quests and lands and characters.

Your joking right?

They have been making Dawnguard since shortly after the Skyrim came out. You don't start making something AFTER you reveal it, you get most of it done beforehand. No game company works in the way you just described.

Furthermore they aren't saying anything not because it isn't close to being done, but because it is better publicity to announce features at E3. It would be terribly dumb of them to just start being like "here is X, Y and Z, of this DLC" when E3 is this close, and they can reveal it to everyone in an event that MANY watch.

Also game companies DO start multiple projects at nearly the same time, or right as another is finishing up, that is how all game companies work. When one project nears completion they move most of the staff onto the next project, given how Dawngaurd is close to being done it would make sense that they are starting Hearth fire. You are aware Bethesda was working on Skyrim at the same time they were making Fallout 3 and its DLC? All game companies work on multiple projects at the same time, it would be terribly inefficient not to do so.

As for the size of the DLC, Bethesda has already said the DLC would be around the size of Point Lookout from Fallout 3, not Shivering Isles size. Furthermore given that they have been working on it for months since before it was announced, it should be nearing completion.

To put that in perspective, Point Lookout was around 16-18% the size of Fallout 3, and Shivering isles was nearly 25% the size of Oblivion.

Are you two seriously going to argue over 2 words that got trademarked? It's almost as bad as gamefaqs in here.

There is literally NOTHING to talk about. They trademarked a title. That's IT. That's all the real information that exists.
