ToroMontana
I'm the creator of the mod Marked For Termination. I recently uploaded the mod to Bethesda.net using their own archiver. The mod has voice acting + lip synching for all lines. I have received a few reports that when the mod is combined with certain Creation Club mods they have audio but NOT lip movement on characters. I have triple checked my own packaging several times and it's fine. Every dialog line has an xwm audio file accompanied by a lip file. I certainly have audio and lip files working on my side. The xwm was generated automatically by Bethesda from a wav file. What could possibly be causing this conflict where audio works but lip doesn't even though files are fine and work with 100 other mods or on a vanilla install? Some people are saying it's the mod Sentinel AI, but that's a companion mod, it doesn't edit how audio works fundamentally. You could add 10000 lines and still not edit the core of how audio works. PC: https://bethesda.net/en/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4075797Xbox (reports of lips not working can be found in comment section): https://bethesda.net/en/mods/fallout4/mod-detail/4075848Nexus PC: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31356 Normally, I wouldn't concern myself with one odd report, but it wasn't just one and I've even seen it happen to a gamer on YouTube who uploaded content from the mod. (admittedly a heavily mod save of his) For the record, my mods edits literally nothing except the 2nd chamber of Saugus Ironworks + some molten steel pits and their script. HadToRegister
Any push in the right direction from this thread, NPC voice but no LIP sync? Also, maybe this will help, .LIP Sync File Generator - Fallout
ToroMontana
Hmm someone on that thread said "Hmm... try to convert wavs to .xwm format and then combine it (xwm file and lip one) to .fuz. I remember seeing an issue on XBox with only fuz working but not wavs and lips separately." I'll try that.
