thunderlord2200
i lost touch for so long so i dont know if the MM2 got anyone working on it, and or if it supports Skyrim SE or how well it does.. while i do know about other mangers, if i can use a fully working now and all.. i like how it temp clones all the mods over to game with out doubling the HDD space. i just never got vortex or MM2 to really work well (cant over lap mods like i can with NMM -_- (like patches and merges but u have to disable (un-click) said mods so the merge work any advice welcome
DaCrapshot
you mean mod organizer 2 right? if so yes i was using nmm for a long while but mo2 dominates any day much better than nmm but requires intermediate level of mod knowledge that requires rick and morty level iq :P
QuagaarWarrior
I used Nexus mod manager for a year or so when I first got into modding. Switched to mod organiser 2 about 4 years ago and havent looked back.
fftfan
I'm going with Mod Organizer 2. I expect that I'll get a very complicated install going, so I think MO2 will be well suited for that.
Mercury71
I use the Vortex Alpa atm and it works very well.
HadToRegister
I go by which mod manager seems to need the least support. So far, MO2 has the most amount of people on random mod pages asking how to get it to work with mods, while Vortex has the least amount of people asking. So far, MO2 has the most amount of people on random mod pages asking how to get it to work with mods, while Vortex has the least amount of people asking.I think it's definitely worth giving Vortex a good look now, I'm starting to see positive comments about Vortex noticeably more often. At least I haven't done much yet on MO2 so at least switching should be easy if I do decide I prefer Vortex.
QuagaarWarrior
Of course that could be because everyone is using MO2 and no one uses vortex... I suspect the real reason is that MO2 has a higher learning curve than either nexus mod manager or vortex leading to more people getting confused.
