devinpatterson
Now that the mod is rolling along what is everyone's opinions on the DLCs? Any interest in expanding those the same way. If there is, we can get the ideas started now, so that when we do eventually get around to it, the brainstorming and story lines are already done.If it sounds worthwhile we can brainstorm in here, or I have some stuff already started for honest hearts in this thread, and Old world blues in this thread. We should probably just focus on the Mojave before we even consider bringing in the DLCs. I know you had some stuff planned with your Old World Blues Expanded mod and maybe we could integrate some ideas you had into that mod in this one later. One thing that wouldn't be too much work would perhaps be expanding the Ulysses companion mod (if he lives at the end of Lonesome Road) to have some sort of a role in this mod. Sure and that's a valid point of view, very practical/sensible. But we'd only be shooting for the ideas, no active development on the DLC expansions. Sometimes it takes some time for critical mass to be reached and ideas/story lines to gel, so I thouhgt we could get a bit ahead of it. So we've got 1 vote for no, I'd like to hear what other contributors think as well.

devinpatterson
disabling the weather station in big mt thus turning off the weather in the divide this thread. I had no clue, thanks for the info  I thought it (the weather station) was a one time experiment in the Divide pre-war days. EDIT: Oh also can you link to it so I can read up on it (or is it just mentioned in the weather station entry for the vault wiki?). Devilman1975
Now that the mod is rolling along what is everyone's opinions on the DLCs? Any interest in expanding those the same way. If there is, we can get the ideas started now, so that when we do eventually get around to it, the brainstorming and story lines are already done. I would be happy to see the DLC's expanded upon and tied into the mod but at the same time I would agree that it's best to focus on the Mojave for the time being. Maybe they can be added in after the chapter that deals with the Legion but for now I'll throw out whatever ideas I can to get the ball rolling. The Tunnelers from Lonesome Road are regarded as a future threat to the Mojave and will have to be dealt with at some point. If the Think Tank is under the player's control then I can imagine them being put to work in order to create a biological weapon that specifically targets the Tunnelers and would be deployed through an army of eyebots. In addition the Fallout wiki mentions that Big MT is located next to the Divide which could result in a Tunneler infestation at some point in the future before they spread to the Mojave. I'll have to take a closer look at the threads that you mentioned for Old World Blues and Honest Hearts but I would second the idea of including the Ulysses companion mod (assuming he survives Lonesome Road). Exactly, it wouldn't imply I'd work any more than I would normally on the DLC expansions, just get the ideas flowing. The Tunnelers from Lonesome Road are regarded as a future threat to the Mojave and will have to be dealt with at some point. I dislike the tunnelers (way overpowered considering their size), but your right htey are an important future concern/story line. And I think your right about tying them into the think tank. But I think the eyebot idea would be robbing the player of the adventure. That being said it would be interesting if they were paired with teh BOS's ED-Es for a small army of tunneler killing exterminators. I'll have to take a closer look at the threads that you mentioned for Old World Blues and Honest Hearts but I would second the idea of including the Ulysses companion mod (assuming he survives Lonesome Road). I'm not positive, but I was under the impression there was already a Ulysses companion mod.
devinpatterson
Yeah Quetzlsacatanango's Reunited and it feels so good mod has him. If you think we should include Ulysses I can contact Q, he's really good about giving back to the community and has allowed me to use a lot of his resources. I was thinking of including Cirosan's mod for Ulysses. He didn't just simply make Ulysses a companion, he added a lot of new spliced dialogue as well. In my opinion, if we were going to include a Ulysses companion mod this is the one we should use. Of course we would have to contact the creator for permission. http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/48600/?
