How to Stop NPCs From Using Certain Weapons? - Fallout 4

I wasn't sure where to ask this... So this seemed like the best place.

 

The title says it all really. Does anybody know a way to stop NPCs using equipment (custom weapons mainly) that I want specifically for my character? It kind of ruins the roleplaying when every other waster you run into has the same 'unique' gear that you have, because your backstory goes out the window.

I suppose you could remove the weapons from the leveled lists (that disperses the guns to EVERYBODY), and just console yourself the guns you want.

Just don't put them in the workbench, because IIRC the Settlers will take them out and use them.

 

I had one that ran off with a power armor I had on display and forgot to take the fusion core out of.
Once the fusion core ran out, they abandoned it between Sanctuary and Red Rocket

At least they didn't get far. Plus, the power armor shows up on the map. Would be a problem with anything else.
