My Vortex will not deploy mods

I'm using Vortex. Had to download with Vortex, then under "Mods" enable each one, and then under "Plugins" enable them there too. That fixed the issue for me in Fallout 4.

You can always go to SETTINGS----------->INTERFACE and turn on DEPLOY MODS WHEN ENABLED, that will save you from having to Enable on the Mods tab, and then having to Enable the plugins on the Plugins tab.

With that option turned on, when you Enable a mod on the mod tab, the plugin is automatically enabled too.

Diud you run Vortex as an administrator at any point?

It sounds like an AntiVirus program is preventing the files from being deployed.

Where do you have your game installed, and where do you have your Mod Staging Folder set to?

Also, go to SETTINS----->MODS what is the Deployment Method Listed? Is it HARDLINK?

ALso, on the same screen, what is the Mod Staging Folder set to?

This is my staging folder Desktop\Vortex\Skyrim I took out the first part as it contained my name

I have hardlink deployment on

I didn't run vortex as an admin but it still works with fallout 4

and my game is installed on the computer in a different file from the one mentioned as my staging folder

Ps thanks for the help

Is your Fallout 4 Mod Staging Folder also on your Desktop?

I didn't want you to run Vortex as an Admin, I only asked if you did, because you're not supposed to, because it can cause problems like the one you're having.

Where is Skyrim installed? What path?

Where is Fallout 4 installed? what path?

Both fallout 4 and Skyrim are installed in separate files if that's what you are asking.

Kinda new to this modding thing so don't exactly know what you mean path.

The PATH to the GAME

Like D:\games\steam\steamapps\common\Fallout4

What do you mean installed in "Separate Files"?

I can't help you with the answers you're giving

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mr DJ\The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Legendary Edition skyrim path

C:\Games\Fallout 4 fallout 4 path

and what do you mean about where it is installed don't know what you mean I'm also not tech savy.
