We're working on this currently and will be issuing API documentation and the ability to register API keys soon.

Be aware that anything used in Vortex before release on the API could change at any time, so I would advise waiting a little longer for us to release the documentation.

We're currently working on the documentation, making sure we have a good test suite and finalising all features for the 1.0 API release.

We also need to work on dishing out API keys for things that aren't Vortex, so there is still a bit of work to do.

That is the first great news I heard this year! Any good sign on the documentation and release for 1.0 API ?

There is a good chance the web team doesn't follow threads on the Vortex forum so here's what I know:

I've seen the api documentation and it looks pretty great and mostly finished.

I'm not sure how far we are regarding API keys. Keep in mind that this probably also requires UI on the website to give users an overview of their keys and the ability to retract them as well as behind-the-scenes administrative tools.

Thank you ! Is there any restriction on the api ? Such as, a premium membership?

Most API functions will be usable by all members in some way, you may get a different reply based on your user group though
