Deleted58783396User
the final thing you can try is a completely fresh install of the game, so uninstall fallout 4 in steam (this should delete everything, but to be sure, check where fallout 4 was installed to, and if steam did not delete everything, then manually delete everything, so in the end their is no traces of mods, enb files, fallout 4 files, and lastly fallout 4 script extender files, etc etc), then also manually delete everything in the fallout 4 documents folder (this includes saved games, fallout 4 ini files, etc etc, every thing, as we are going for a complete fresh install of the game). re-install fallout 4, by downloading it again in steam, re-create the fallout4Custom.ini file. inside said custom file, simply add this below exactly as written (Note: this is for enabling modding, largely useless for this test, but it saves doing it later): [Archive]sResourceDataDirsFinal= bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 save it set up using the fallout 4 launcher, this will create the 2 other fallout 4 ini files. then try 1 last time, on a completely vanilla. brand new game. with absolutely no mods active, or enb, reshade, fallout 4 script extended, or any other third party tools for fallout 4. if it crashes yet again, even after a complete fresh re-install of the game, and its ini files. then your issue is either third party software (including windows services) or hardware. so yea i will wait for your reply, and if you are still crashing even on a completely vanilla game (basically a console setup, since they can not have enb or f4se) then we will look into other potentional causes, which will most likely be Third Party Software, Hardware, or windows services. jdkzombie
If his game is completely missing textures/meshes and is getting those super weird screen tears where an object used to be, that sounds like a hallmark corrupted file or download to me. Especially if its happening on a completely new save, but we will see if it happens of a fresh install. Heaven knows we have all had to reinstall fresh a few times ourselves here and there from wonky downloads.
Kdaj
it's all good now. after the fresh install with no mods, i can now walk around the airport and i can see the Wattz Consumer Electronics cleared with no bugs at all... I guess i've learned my lesson... never delete mods while playing a saved game. well, i'll have to get the mods back installed again and start clean and fresh... and see if that does anything wrong again... if so, i'll report back....... where? here?
