DreadFeign
Hey there guys. I recently reinstalled Fallout 4 and proceeded to mod the hell out of it, as one does, and I am getting a white screen when I start a new game right after skipping the intro. This happens whether I skip it or not and just hangs there. I suspect it's one or a combination of mods causing it since I ran the game once in vanilla before I began throwing mods at it. I have never been great with load orders and even when using LOOT I still find the problem persists. Computer Specs: Windows 10 Pro 64bitASUS Z170K MoboCore i7 6700-K @4GhzG.Skill Trident Z 16GB (2x 8GB) @3200 DDR4MSI GTX980 4GB DDR4Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD (Game runs off this) Some help and insight would be great! Attached is my current LOOT sorted load order in .txt format for easy access. Thanks in advance! Edited September 20, 2018 by DreadFeign
Undeadbob666
You might need to disable your mods, create your character, and then enable your mods. Sometimes is what works for is to hit a bunch of buttons and then it works lol. Sorry for not having a more technical solution.
DreadFeign
Hah, were it that easy. Unfortunately I like to use a bunch of mods that are designed specifically for character creation so at the very least I'd need those. I feel like it's just one mod causing the whole problem, but I don't know. I'm going to try singling it out if I can.
Deleted58783396User
White Screen can be caused by a Missing Mod Requirement, usually a Master File. check all of your mods in Nexus Mod Manager, click on the Plugins Tab, and see if any mod is in Red. can also try LOOT as well to see if it Reports any Errors can also very likely be caused by a Disabled/Missing Fallout 4 Master File(s) such as Fallout4.esm Note: LOOT = Load Order Optimization Tool Edited September 20, 2018 by Guest
DreadFeign
It didn't report any missing masters that I can see. I'll do a thorough check and see.
