Nimbus21
 You know, I just realized that Roc is gonna be the second true city in Skyrim, the only other one that really fits the term is Solitude, the others are just villages. Rochebere is larger than even Solitude, which I believe is the largest city in Vanilla Skyrim. It's at least twice the size, maybe even three times the size, but it's not just all about the area of space covered. Rochebere city is crammed full of houses, shops and NPC's to give it that bustle and claustrophobic feel that none of the Vanilla cities have. I'd say the countryside is effectively the rough size of a small hold too, in terms of size. Yes I know that, what I ment is that Solitude is the only place in skyrim that can really be considered a city, even by the standards of the time. And only just bearly
samv96UK
how strong will the enemies be in rochbere and will there be any in the countryside district During the Questline the enemies will be stronger and tougher as you progress accordingly. I wouldn't recommend trying to complete it under level 10. The first mission doesn't have particularly difficult enemies, so that players are able to enter the city and enjoy the mod without necessarily playing the rest of the questline if they are not a high enough level. One of the dialogue lines actually hints at this, when you are asked if you feel like you are ready to proceed. The enemies themselves are generally in the countryside, the sewers or dungeons, and not the actual city itself. In the countryside you'll encounter bears, deer, wolves and sometimes bandits outside caves or abandoned locations. In the sewers your main foes are the Sewer Spiders, which are similar to frostbite spiders but with slightly different feats. Finally, you will encounter some generic enemies within a few caves and dungeons across the countryside, consisting of bandits, trolls etc. will u add any new shouts or spells and are there any mods that are incompatible with this I don't plan to add any shouts as they don't really suit Rochebere, and I may add some spells if I have any good ideas, but none are planned at the moment. As for incompatibilities, I haven't discovered any yet, but I probably won't know until the release as there are so many mods out there that may be incompatible. I'm able to use most of the big mods whilst playing Rochebere though, but sometimes with too many mods active it makes Rochebere easier to crash while loading for some reason.   You know, I just realized that Roc is gonna be the second true city in Skyrim, the only other one that really fits the term is Solitude, the others are just villages. Rochebere is larger than even Solitude, which I believe is the largest city in Vanilla Skyrim. samv96UK
how many towns will u make in the countryside and are they going to be bigger then vanilla towns will the guards be only nords or will there be multiple races There aren't really entire 'villages' in the Countryside, but you will come across lots of small farms, aristocrat manors, inns, guard outposts and other landmarks. In lore, the city itself is where most of the populace live. The main purpose of the Countryside is for growing fruit and vegetables, and harvesting meat, hence there being several farms across the place. There are also a couple of quiet inns where wanderers or farmers may visit as a pose to those inside the walls of the main city. However, despite it being mostly inhabited by farmers and peaceful families, it has also become an attractive area for some rich nobles to live, so you may stumble across a large manor house or two contrasting with the natural and rustic ways of the farmers of the Countryside.  As for your question about the guards, Rochebere is mainly an Imperial city, but also has a high population of Nords and Redguards, so you will see those three races as guards. There are other races in the city too, but not as many of them compared to the Imperials, Redguards or Nords, and you won't see them as guards. if u need an idea for a side quest maybe a thane has embezzled money from the treasury and u have to investigate and the reward is that u take that thanes place in rochebere. There actually isn't a Thane in Rochebere. The city isn't actually part of Skyrim, and therefore doesn't have the same ruling system. However, in lore, when Rochebere first became independent, the title 'Jarl' was chosen for the current ruler of the city to honour the city's partially-Nordic heritage. Anyway, going back to your main point, the Player is allowed to buy property in the city and become a landlord after completing the second quest in the main questline and gaining the Jarl's trust. since the guardians guild will have dwemer gear i was wondering if you could add guns or maybe a stun rodoh and maybe for the last quest 4 the gaurdians it would be an assualt on a dwemer fort. if u need ideas for the gaurdians guild heres a few 1 maybe u could buy custom dwemer bots from someone in the guild sort of like how in dawnguard u could buy trolls 2 if ure making armor four the guild u could make it a dwemer powered light armor 3 the guy who supplies the guild with dwemer gear could be the last dwemer in the world I'm not doing too much planning for the Guardian's Guild right now, as I am going to focus on it in an expansion rather than the initial mod. Guns are a big no-no unfortunately since I think they are pretty lore-breaking and don't fit in with the game. The same goes for having a living Dwemer, as it kind of goes against Bethesda's lore, and I want Rochebere to fit into the Elder Scrolls almost seamlessly. Purchasable Dwemer spiders are a possibility, since I was planning to have a mini-Dwarven spider that you carry in your inventory and you can send it to attack enemies. A stun rod wouldn't be too bad either since it's not too extreme and unrealistic for Dwemer gear. I would like to have custom armour for the Guardians, but like I said earlier, I'm not making too many plans as I'm going to focus on most of this in an expansion. littleork
I can't wait to make Rochebere my new home, I was wondering if the player will be able to buy a farm? My characters like to live from the land so it would be cool if they would be able to live that way in their *old days* ;)
