[LE] Rochebere- A brand new city- Coming Soon

when i said guns i was thinking muskets not like machine guns or anything

when i said last dwemer i ment maybe the 1 from morrowind

Muskets are more feasible than modern guns (which is what I thought you meant), but I still don't think they really fit in the with Elder Scrolls. If I was to have something kind of like a gun, it would probably be a Dwemer dart-launcher or something. It would shoot either poison darts, sleep darts, or standard darts. Either way, I'm talking speculatively since I've never coded anything like this before. As for the last Dwemer from Morrowind, I'm pretty sure that I don't want him actually there, but I might consider mentioning some backstory that loosely links to him that doesn't break the lore. Perhaps the old inventor in the Guild, who makes all of the technology the Guardians have, met the last Dwemer during his travels in Morrowind, and this inspired him to work with Dwemer technology,

I can't wait to make Rochebere my new home, I was wondering if the player will be able to buy a farm? My characters like to live from the land so it would be cool if they would be able to live that way in their *old days* ;)

Orginally I was planning for there to be only one player-home, but It's more likely now that there will be one in each district you can buy. There's already a landlord system in the mod where you can purchase certain landmarks, buildings and shops to earn money, so creating three player home abodes instead of one isn't really much of a problem. ;) The Mainstreet/Central Rochebere home (the original one) is a large manor house, the Residential house would be a small, cosy home, and the Countryside home would be a peaceful, secluded farm.

was wondering how many new monsters will u make

At the moment I only have a few new 'monsters', which are new variants of existing creatures such as new spiders, trolls and wolves. As well as these, there are also new human enemies you will encounter in Rochebere.

Perhaps you can ask Dogtown and use some of his monsters; or request a monster made specially for a certain side quest

Also be sure to take a good look at a new mod called Falskaar; it set some high standards for these big mods coming out. I loved Falskaar but I feel like this mod has the potential to be much better.

Maybe I could ask Dogtown, but I'm not too sure right now. I feel like some of the new creatures added feel new enough to pass for different enemies despite being variations of existing ones since they are almost completely different. For example, the Sewer Spiders are variations of vanilla Frostbite spiders, but are smaller (and show up in large groups), have orange and black skin, and have different abilities and death items.

It's interesting that you mention Falskaar actually, I spoke to Alexander a few times during the mods development. I haven't downloaded it yet so I can't say for definate, but I think it's quite easy to say that Falskaar is bigger than Rochebere in terms of land space covered. The Countryside of Rochebere is pretty big, but not that kind of size. However, I know that Alexander set out to make a worldspace that was similar to Skyrim, and did not particularly want to add new objects or textures. He did this perfectly, and managed to work with the Vanilla assets to create a vast new and interesting, yet familiar world. On the other hand, Rochebere is quite the opposite. Its unique feel and style is all down to the new objects and textures I have created, and would not be nearly as interesting without them. Hopefully this means that what the land of Rochebere lacks in physical size, it can make up for in character.
