Mid-game install and exclusion

Say I have a somewhat unstable Fallout 4 game and a stable Skyrim SE game.

1. Could I install Vortex as the manager for the mid-game Fallout 4, but leave NMM for the stable Skyrim SE game?

2. How would Vortex add stability to Fallout 4 beyond NMM with the latest LOOT?

3. Will up to date Video 'how-tos" be coming out for the new beta version of Vortex (from Gopher or others)?

Yes.
I'm currently running FO4 and FONV with Vortex, and Running SKyrim SE with NMM AND WryeBash, Oblivion with WryeBash, and Morrowind with MLOX and WRyeMash

My FO4 is super stable, LOOT is built into Vortex

There is documentation now included in Vortex, it's not as hard as it looks interface wise.
Some concepts need a bit more explaining, but if you've ever messed with MO or MO2 those concepts should be familiar.

Vortex is used to manage mods. It does nothing to improve game stability.

That is all up to you, in picking a compatible set of well coded mods - and not too many.

If you use broken and / or script heavy mods - expect your game to be unstable.

If it properly manages the mods and load order it CAN improve Game stability.

Anyway, he wasn't talking about Game Stability like you think he was, he was saying that he has a stable Mod setup with Skyrim, therefore it equals a "Stable Game"

He's worried that if he switches over to Vortex, t6hat vortex will mess up his STABLE mod set up he has going with NMM for Skyrim.

Based on his first sentence, he is talking about Fallout 4, which is currently unstable.

Vortex will not improve that situation.

Based on his third sentence, by not reading it so literally, he was asking if switching to a different mod manager mid game would help him create a better load order for his mods, thus creating a stable Fallout 4 setup.to use with the mods and load order he's using for his currently unstable Fallout 4 setup

"Stable" as referring to Mods.

A good load order makes a stable game.

He knows what a Mod Manager is, and what they do, he's asking if Vortex could help him get a better load order because of it's built in sorting etc, he knows it doesn't edit the actual game files and such.
