Hello, I have a problem with Vortex and I've tries searching for this issue and haven't found it. My issue is that my mods aren't working inside of the game, they are installed and enabled and just won't work in-game. If you need anymore information about this I can try and add some through the comments.

P.S.

I am using the game through F4SE launcher.

And I don't know if I am overlooking something, so if I am then call me dumb and tell me.

What version of Vortex?

What game:

Did you click "Deploy" before running the game?

Do the various plugins (ESMs and ESPs) show on the Plugins tab as enabled?

I am using the latest version of Vortex, downloaded it yesterday.

Fallout 4

I clicked deployed after every mod I downloaded

I don't see any and I have no idea how to get them there.

**EDIT**

The only plugin that shows up is Fallout4.esm

If you are able, post a screen shot of your mods panel, and a second screen shot of your plugins panel.

Oh - and in Setup make sure you selected hard links.

No idea what is going on - but the more information you share the more likely someone is to spot something.

Well, install and enable sure looks good.

Deploy is a total bust.

You did those first screen shots so well - could I ask for a couple more?

On the Games tab, find Fallout 4 on Managed. Click the + in the upper right corner.

Screenshot that.

On the Settings tab, select Mods.

Screenshot that.

I have to think the problem is somewhere in Settings if Deploy is not actually making it to the game directory.

You don't get off the hook that easy!

The first screenshot shows the install path for Fallout 4 is:

c:/Program Files(X86)/Decepticon/Fallout 4.

I suspect that is not the actual location of the game directory. Check where it wound up after re-installing Vortex.

If Vortex is really picking the wrong location, you might have needed to enter the path manually.

In any case - I am glad you got it working.
