kevkiev
....The marker just has no reliability whatsoever anymore... It pretty much feels just like random. ... I'm simply not paying it any attention anymore ever since it stopped working and use my memory to keep track. Your post summed up my experience pretty much exactly. I'm also just kinda ignoring the "my content" feature these days. Not the end of the world by any means but, yeah, would be nice to have it functioning again. sPINELESSjELLY
@ DrakeTheDragon & kevkiev: An ugly, brutal and clumsy workaround is to use the "Mark Board as Read" function at the bottom of the page. That way everything remains flagged as "read" until the next update (in my case, once a day).
fms1
Same problems here, I use FF, this is the only PC I use for this, and no-one else uses it. I did happen to think, my internet security periodically clears cookies for IE (I don't use IE) and FF, I think I can turn it off for FF, but not for IE. Internet security programs do this to alleviate spamming your e-mail from all the spyware out there. Edited July 24, 2012 by fms1
blove
If I read a topic it does not stay marked as read. If I mark forum/board as read it stays read most of the time. Occasionally it just "misses" and does not apply anything as read. Reading any topic for new replies starts at the first post since the last time I used mark forum/board as read regardless of when I actually last read it. The sorting of My Content is fubar.
