ironcladsoul
was wonder if anybody knows how to make it so you can run multiple mod from the same creator on one or few then the full to lower plugin usage.wanting to know since i'm hitting the limit but still have so many mods from others i want to use but have no clue where to even start at coding a patch or new plugin to get them running for less.would just be happy with a guide help tips or maybe a tutor in some way but a guide would be prefered since my memory isn't all that good but i can follow well written instructions.someone to make the plug in or esp/esl replacer would be nice but i won't push my luck and would just ask if they can atleaslty give me info on how to try and do instead of me just sitting around waiting for someone else to do in months down the road.also sorry if this topic doesn't fit this section just didn't know which it would
HadToRegister
You'd have to merge the mods.Either by hand while using FO4Edit, or using MERGE MODS by Mator The Eternal
ironcladsoul
well i know FO4 edit works but not well versed in it and really i'm asking how i go about doing that since ya hitting near the limit as i said i'm around 252 hoping i can get some mods that share a certain framework like crosses stuff into one plug in or other modders stuff like that since those really pile up. >.<

ironcladsoul
to be honest i'm using NMM which has a hard limit of 255 plugins esl or esp not sure if it should count but it does has for me the coding being read by the manager may be a bit different and the plugin reads out different but they still seam to count against it or started counting after a certain point can't be sure my manager could be broken but reloading it could erase all the mods and mod install information and directions which would make me have to install them all by hand again. >.<
JonathanOstrus
@ironcladsoul what version of NMM are you using? The 0.65.10 from GitHub should let you have more than 255 plugins as long as the excess are flagged ESL. There was a bug previously, that I pushed a fix for a month ago, to handle sorting .esp with ESL flags but it hasn't been published by DuskDweller yet. You could still use the current published version from GitHub and use xEdit to check for compatible .esp files and mark them with ESL header flag as long as they don't need specific load order slots. That would reduce the number of full slot plugins.
ironcladsoul
i'm using 65.5 never really knew it had a github location for downloads also not sure which mods would be compatible for an esl also wouldn't changing it's plugin type cause some bugs? ironcladsoul
ok well it seems fallout 4 will actually boot up when i go over the limit and it tells me it won't turn on but the manager keeps saying it won't start even though it just did through the mod manager XD
