BigDaddyRat
If I install Mercenary pack 1.3a, do I still need mercenary pacl 0.9b and 0.9c? The installation directions were kinda confusing
Undeadbob666
I think the version 1.3a you are looking at is only the bodyslide files, seems like you might still need 0.9b and 0.9c. Agree it is quite confusing actually, as the advice I gave is really only a guess. I did what I suggested in my game but I have yet to see them running around in my game, but I do have allot of armor/clothing mods for raiders so who knows if it works. BigDaddyRat
I've tried adding all three, but Vortex makes it a hell of a lot more confusing than NMM, so I'm not sure I installed them right. Is there just a base Mercenary Packmod that I missed? After I installed them they were in my body slide app, and I batch built them, but can't seem to find them in the game...not at a chem station or armor smith workbench. Deleted58783396User
Version 0.9a - (The Middle file in the Main File Section) = this is the Main File, Absolutely Required - (Ba2 Archive) install this 1 first if you Do Not use CBBE Version 0.9b - (The Last file in the Main File Section) = this is also the Main File, Absolutely Required - (Loose Files) install this 1st if you Do Use CBBE Note: Only Need 1 of the files above, not both. pick the 1 that applies to you. so only pick 1 of them files and above, and install them first  then install Version 0.9c - (The Top file in the Main File Section) = this is Absolutely Required, regardless of what main file you pick (Overwrite the esp file when asked with this file) and lastly install 1.3a = Bodyslide files, only needed if you use CBBE   install said files in that order, then the Crafting Recipes for The Mercenary pack will be found in the Armorsmith Workbench. This mod Requires Armorsmith Extended, just to ensure you also have that Mod aswell. and most likely AWKCR (even though it is not stated, however that mod is required for the Crafting Recipes, as it is AWKCR which adds the Armorsmith Workbench) AWKCR = Armor Weapons Keywords and Community Resource to know if the mod is in effect is to locate Gunners, as they will spawn in Mercenary gear from this mod, very Frequently and likewise the Crafting recipes will now be found in the Armorsmith Workbench.  Try Installing Manually, these are after all big files, and if vortex is anything like old versions of NMM it will have trouble installing large files. BigDaddyRat
I tried that but could not find the recipes in the armor smith bench. I have AWKCR and Armorsmith Extended as well. They showed up in my cbbe and bodyslide and I batch built them, but not showing up in either bench.
BigDaddyRat
I just re-installed them again, so maybe they'll work this time.
Deleted58783396User
if re-installing does not work, can you post your mod list, so we can see if their might be conflicts or something preventing this mod from working for you.
Deleted49413338User
Agree, this mod has great content but is very confusing with the install instructions.
Deleted49413338User
If I deleted the entire craftable section of this mod, and just made it so they only could be found thru LL, would that remove the requirement for Armorsmith?
BigDaddyRat
Finally got it to work after the last re-install. To quote Montgomery Scott, "The more they over-tink the plumbing, the easier it is to plug up the drain."
