noobhammerr
I've been successfully expanding a master mod list which I imported from MO2 into a directory installed onto the same drive as the games. Vortex is launched through another drive. Everything has been working with SSE with no issues. I wanted to start rebuilding my Skyrim VR mod list so I can test things there. I was able to create another profile in Vortex however I cannot access the mods I had already installed for SSE as there are a few that will work for Skyrim VR. When I try to point Skyrim VR to the install folder full of installed mods for SSE it tells me the directory first needs to be empty. So I created a new directory VR_mods and was able to apply and use hardlink deployment settings as I did for SSE. It seems I have to install duplicates of the SSE mods into the VR_mods folder as opposed to how MO2 would just let me enable all mods from one install directory. I could still make it work this way but to install mods twice was a bit unexpected. And to think when I felt a small 120GB SSD would be enough for Skyrim to live on I was wrong. HadToRegister
I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS WORKS OR IS EVEN POSSIBLE, TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!Have you tried dragging your SKyrim Profile, to your Skyrim VR profile? On the profiles page, there's a small icon in the lower right hand corner of each profile that says when you mouse over it "Drag to another profile to transfer settings"
HadToRegister
I would make a copy of the SKYRIM profile and the SKyrim VR profile and try it, that way you don't mess up your original profiles in case something happens
