Vortex vs Fallout 4: textures not loading

simple version: installed fallout 4 via steam, installed vortex. Installed mods via vortex and ran fallout 4, some of the mods worked others with textures did not, as in ANY mods using textures does not show in game. no purple texture, nothing just invisible *if they install*

I checked the plugins.txt *fine* I checked data dir *fine* yet, the textures still do not load?

hair/eye mods: lists the mods in looks menu yet no texture

environment mods: nothing

pip-pad: works fine before you leave the vault, but once your outside you get the animation but no pip-pad

why am i bringing this up? well..

i used vortex prior to this install and everything was fine, then i get a notice that there is an update *ok, fine *click* and all hell breaks loose... its like the listed fix: fixed the mods not being deployed however, uhm their not deploying correctly?

I have spent a week trying to figure out this issue and yet i still can't find the reason this is happening.

was running vortex v .8 updated to .10

I'm attempting to figure if its coming from vortex or if its in fallout 4. so far no idea.

help? suggestions? workarounds?

lol you say that to everything ;P

i ment to come back last night and explain my solution:

you know the fallout4custom.ini and the fallout4prefs.ini

had to edit them and add in code. once that was done boom it worked!

so in the end it had nothing to do with vortex but with the ini files in fallout 4. its always the simplest things you miss that are the culprit.

What code did you add?

It might help others.
