Random CTD's (Load order provided)

Recommended Posts

I've been having a lot of random CTD's lately, especially when either going through a door or fast travelling, though sometimes at random.

I've ran my load order through BOSS, used Wrye Bash Tes4loadgen, and looked at other threads though their solutions either didn't work or included mods that I don't have.

Any help is appreciated

By check for error do you mean clean my mods? I've cleaned all the mods that BOSS recommended I used so I don't think it's that. I'll try Crash Logger, and get back to you.

Edit: I have no clue how to access the crash logger DLL, or at least what to open it with.

Once you installed Crash logger, after a crash open MessageLog.txt and check the last entries, it might reveal something interesting.

To check for errors in a mod, open it using TES4Edit, right click on the mod's ESP/ESM, check for errors.

UNABLE TO IDENTIFY MODULE CONTAINING THE CRASH ADDRESS.
This can occur if the crashing instruction is located in the vanilla address space,
but it can also occur if there are too many DLLs for us to list, and if the crash
occurred in one of their address spaces. Please note that even if the crash occurred
in vanilla code, that does not necessarily mean that it is a vanilla problem. The
vanilla code may have been supplied bad data or program state as the result of an
issue in a loaded DLL."
I'll go through my mods with Tes4Edit next. Already tried turning off autosave.

I never received any message like the one you just posted.

I oftenly use autosave and it doesn't bring me any trouble. I red you should preferably perform menu saves rather than quick/auto ones, you don't have anything to lose applying this advice.
