Skyrim DLC Idea!

Return of the Snow Elves!

According to the lore, the Snow Elves were the rightfull rulers of Skyrim, and the Nords invaded and stole the land from them, driving them underground to take refuge with the Dwemer.

I would love to see a DLC that has the Falmer becoming what they once were.

My idea is to have the Thalmor have a plan to booster their bumbers by adding Falmer to their ranks. They have a theory that under the right conditions, and with years of "therapy", the Falmer could be taught to move beyond their hatred and become their true selves once again.

The story of the DLC would be that the Falmer become too strong and the Thalmor are unable to control them. The Falmor see what's happened to Skyrim and reside to take advantage of the civil war to retake their homeland.

This DLC could involve a return to Solsthiem, since the "Snow Prince" was from there.

The player could choose to aid the Snow Elves in retaking Skyrim, or stopping them and aiding the Nords. If the player is a Nord, the Falmer give him no choice and attack on sight.

Aren't the Falmer a completely different species now - more animal than Mer?

They are the same species, they just adapted to the dark by going blind, and grew to fear and hate other races from what the nords and dwemer did to them. If there was a way to capture a falmer alive, and communicate with them, then it would be possible to actually get them to work together with other races, and even return their sight.

That saying comes from people who have had friends and family killed by them. It should not be taken literally.

The Snow Elves were enslaved, and Blinded by the Dwemer, shortly before they Dissapeared. It's unknown whether the two instances were related.

I want to see something, ANYTHING done with the Thalmor, and/or Foresworn. All we got are Noodle Incidents with the White/Gold concordant, Battle of Markarth, and it's fairly obvious to me who the Big Bad here is after Al. I'd like to see the Forsworn take on The Thalmor, drive them from the reach, like the Civil War we got in this episode, but with the 2 most powerful Mage races. Maybe rope in the Redguard for some Infantry/Spellswords to counter the Imperials, while the theif races skulk around, and try to profit from it. Start with Northwatch, bring in an Aldmeri Invasion by sea, maybe move over to the Hammerfell borderlands. Hell, there's enough for a whole nother game here.

The Dwemer are dead, and damn near took the Snow Elves down with them. I still don't see much to work with there. maybe finally solve the mystery, find some non twisted Snow Elf who's not a morbidly obese semicyborg, and ask him. Wrap it up in, like 1 quest.

The fate of the Dwemer was never revealed. So it is not known if they are dead. That is pure speculation.

First off, the fate of the Dwemer has been revealed, in previous games and material. It was not in the least bit related to the Falmer.

Second, the Falmer entered into an agreement with the Dwemer which required them to blind their race. The enslavement happened later. Gelebor is rather clear on that.

Third, we know that the Falmer maintain a good deal of intelegence, their just radically xenophobic. Gelebor makes note of the fact that they are slowly comming out of their skin, so to speak, but it'll be a long way until their 'civil' with other races.

Fourth, the Thalmor are racial purists who look down on other Mer, and moreso on men. The likelyhood of them even being willing to associate with the Falmer is about the same as Lorkhan becomming lovey-dovey with an Elf.

I would like to see something come out of the Falmer, of course, but i think we're looking at a cross-title development, similar to how Orcs gradually worked into the playable races over 3 games.
