Bodyslide and CBBE drivng me insane, Vortex related? SSE

So I tried a manual install. I made sure I batched the outfits so that those work and that fixed the issue i was having with getting the presets to work. The presets saved still won't show up in game but batch building seems to set the downloaded presets into my character just fine.

Manually installing caused dirt to cover the body in odd ways. the waste had a white line and the breast area covered in what looks to be dirt. It caused some odd shadows as well. I downloaded fair skin mod. Its a mesh that goes over the skin. that seemed to clear it up in bodyslide previewer. In game it seems to be working just fine now.

Here's how I have bodyslide installed for SSE

D:\games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Caliente Tools\Bodyslide\Bodyslide x64.exe

Now, in the Vortex Dashboard I have the TARGET set to D:\games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Caliente Tools\Bodyslide\Bodyslide x64.exe

and the START IN set to D:\games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\Caliente Tools\Bodyslide\

From Ihadtoregister user ...

Thank you this worked for me :) I had my bodyslide , in vortex paths wrong...

Thanks again!

Arrgh! mine still does not work, I also have Mini dresses and other armour replacers installed through Vortex but not showing in game. My bodyslide was installed through vortex and bodyslide paths are all set correctly. I batch build my changes in bodyslide and deploy in vortex, but I still see only vanilla armours

EDIT: I found my problem, I hope anyone this helps whoever had the same issue as me. When you click batch build, you have to make sure for the second dialog (Choose Output Set), that you select all the correct sets, in my case I had to change a lot of the Vanilla output -> Whatever mod I had installed.

Your game path is not complete. It should look like this - D:\Games\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\ Once you've entered the complete path you should see your mesh and texture files in the BodySlide data files box.

By the way, the incomplete path is not a Vortex issue. It's a BodySlide issue. Somewhere along the way BodySlide got confused.

Had this problem, this solution worked for me, thanks!

'No Image' in BodySlide? go to BodySlide Settings > Game Data Path and insert your playable path ending in "...Skyrim\Data\"

It needs us to point it to the \Data\ folder even though it's always ALWAYS under the Skyrim install folder.

Come on, it's the 21st century.

I have read all this and tried this. I still have no presets.

My situation:

I had a working Bodyslide in Vortex for Skyrim SE. I used it and was happy.

Then, I accidentally fumbled, I Removed Bodyslide from the tools bar in Vortex. ( OOPS!)

So I added it back to the tools bar in Vortex, installing it by selecting a new tool and setting all the paths correctly. I have previews. I have my outfits. I have no presets in the drop down, none, no cbbe presets.

Then I tried uninstalling, re-installing cbbe and bodyslide, re starting computer, re starting Vortex, etc.

Then I found this thread, read it, checked everything mentioned here. Still no presets.

I'm about to play the game and see if I can find any more clues as to what I need to do

Thanks in advance if you can help with this one!

You would be best served by posting this issue in the appropriate game support forum. This is not a Vortex issue.
