RobinHood2005
Title says it all. All my mods work together well -with the occasional glitch, crash or bug, which is unavoidable- but when I try to install UIO (User Interface Organizer) it always breaks the launcher to the game. I have tried to install the mod multiple times, all to no avail. Every time I try to install UIO, the launcher to the game either turns to black with no sound with my cursor being replaced by an image saying "Fallout New Vegas", or I get a pink screen with the menu music, but nothing else. Either way, the launcher simply ceases to work. What makes matters worse is the fact that removing the UIO files from the FalloutNV game folder does not succeed in removing the mod. The only way to fix the issue is to reinstall the game, which inevitably entails me having to reinstall ALL of my mods, which takes an extremely long amount of time. The game is currently in a state of being unplayable. Yes, I am sure that the issue lies with UIO. M48A5
You don't mention it, but do you have NVSE installed? Did you read any of the comments on the mod comments page? There are solutions to the installation posted there. Also, you do not use the game launcher to start the game. You use your mod manager.

I came here because I didn't see any fixes or solutions that would help me personally, although maybe I didn't look far enough. EDIT: Using my mod manager (Vortex) to start the game did not help. Because you should be.Also, just rename the UIO folder in MENU folder to start over, no need to uninstall the entire game. Install UIO first, then Install whichever HUD mod you're installing second, UIO should detect everything and generate it's own Menus etc. Eventually Vortex will tell you that Files have been changed make sure "SAVE" is chosen DO NOT PICK REVERT, otherwise you will undo everything you did. Also, did you make sure to extract Weapons of the New Millennia and repackage it?Because I know I had to do that in order to get the mod to install correctly. Thanks for the advice, I'll try it. Also, no, I haven't done that. How do you do it? It depends on what options you want from Weapons of the new Millennia installed.I only wanted the main .esm, Honest Hearts grunt patch and the New Millennia Leveled Lists (to distribute the new stuff to raiders etc) So extracted the 7z t5o its own folder, in that you'll see Weapons of the new millenia--->Premade Weapons of the new Millennia---->then a bunch of other folders _OPTIONALfomodimagesmeshesOptioal.StoresoundTextures So all I needed to do was take the meshes, textures, sound folders, and zip them up with the Weapons of the new Millennia.esm, Weapons of the new Millennia honest hearts grunt patch.esp, and Weapons of the new millennia leveled lists. Because when I tried installing the I got no option and it installed everything to the wrong pathsbecause of the extra "Premade Weapons of the New Millennia" folder The zip should be set up with just esps, and esms in the root, with texture, mesh, and sound folder next to the esps and esms

Hey man, I tried doing what you said to do, concerning UIO. I reinstalled the game and installed UIO first, then One HUD, Project Nevada, Solid Project and MCM. Now it just crashes to desktop. EDIT: Also, what do I have to rename to start over? There are a lot of UIO files in the "menus" folder. RobinHood2005
ISSUE SOLVED: I used the NVSE launcher to start the game. This is completely unnecessary (as the default launcher detects NVSE) and broke the game. Everything's fine now.
