Squat500
As of the 0.16.11 prerelease, it became impossible to launch the game or tools integrated with Vortex if there were file conflicts. While the intention is noble, to prevent people from bricking their games, there should remain a way to manually override it without resorting to shortcuts outside the program. A simple "bypass conflicts" checkbox or something similar. More often than not, conflicts are going to arise with texture packs. When you can't even launch the tools to create a merged script within the program, it gets frustrating. For instance, you have to launch SSEEdit outside Vortex to create the resolution, which, while simple, is an unnecessary step. And in most cases, I would prefer not to merge massive texture mods, but in stead, leave them to be a noncritical conflict. Does that feature exist and I am simply overlooking it? HadToRegister
Why not just resolve the conflicts? What you're asking is to completely ignore the function of Vortex in the first place. If you have a conflict, why not resolve it, it's not difficult. Squat500
Thank you for the info! I have no idea how I managed to miss that. Only one could not be resolved natively, but I just opted to remove the mod instead. (Didn't want conflicts with Papyrus, and telling it to load before or on conflict created random crashes).
