Dark0ne
Rolling out an update at the moment that can be seen on New Vegas Nexus. Noticeable changes are: - the preferences link so you're aware you can actually change your feeds- the default feed is now site news- latest files and latest images now show the 15 latest files and images in a compact format, so you'll actually be able to see a lot more new content than you originally could from the index page. Toying with the idea of letting Premium Members see more- you can now remove the activity feed from your profile if you so wish- slight aesthetic changes (font-sizes, margins) to make it a bit cleaner Tomorrow I'll look at the hot files. I'll either add some left and right arrows to the big hot files image so you can control it yourself, or I'll put up some mini-thumbnails of the 5 hot files that you can roll-over to change the information accordingly. I'll try both out and see which I think looks better. Still need to make some aesthetic changes to the feeds to look a little more modern, but it's getting there. Mainframe
It took me abit to get used to the last round of changes and now my landing page is mostly devoid of anything. @ least with the last one it actually used the space on the page. I see what you guys are trying to do and thank you for it..but as I've read some of these new designs just don't jive well.
pwnedbyscope
just a thought something that could clean up the front new files page would be add "boxes"? dont know if thats the right word but like in the files section, the way they are separated with the header and whatnot, with that text size as well
ledmack
@pwnedbyscope It's fixed now! Edited July 5, 2012 by ledmack
RogueDemonKing
I agree with pwnedbyscope Make it look like the full list of mods when you press the "more" link. I like that layout. you can still keep the multiple mods per row, but put each mod in it's own distinct box. Currently it is a bit clunky and confusing. Metal300
If it stays like this I'll definitely come less often to check on new mods.
ledmack
I just now seen the tabs. I like the tabs a lot! Would it be possible to get a comment link on the site news again? I like the new changes for the most part. I had to change some things in the preferences, but that was a very easy process! Now I have site news back on the front page. I could be wrong, but it seems there is also now more room for the hot files, recent mods, etc. I didn't think I would like it at first, but well done! Virrey
I say, Nexus have been faceraped by Facebook. I kind of like the changes though. No double posts either it would seem, but it need to be confirmed.
