my mods do not show

I'm not OP, but I have the same problem and figured I might as well throw it here since they seem to have fallen off the map. I've installed/enabled/deployed everything, but for whatever reason not all the mods are active. For example I know Sim settlements is active, but CBBE or weapons lowered don't seem to be. http://i68.tinypic.com/23vxb1d.png

Same problem with a twist. I used version that was listed as version 0.16.12 I was able to dl install and enable my mods but there is a warning that there is no deployment method available and an orange tap saying they can't can't be deployed.

When the more tab is opened I get a long paragraph .

"with current setting, mods can't be deployed Please read the following error messages from the deployment plugins and fix one of them. At least the "hardlink deployment" can usually be made to work"

then lists : symlink deployment doesn't work on FO4 and skyrim SE

symlink deployment (doesn't run as an admin)

Hardlink deployment works If mods are installed on the same drive as the game. You can go to settings and change the mod directory tot the same as the game.

move deployment , listed as experimental to do the same as above.

I tried and Vortex won't let me deploy even after moving the mod folder and there is a C: drive link I can get to.

What did you try? Hardlink deployment? Is your mod staging folder on the same disk partition as your game?

Could you please try editing your Fallout4Custom.ini found in My Documents\My Games\Fallout 4

Add the following (if they are missing) :

[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=

Let me know if that fixes the issue.

whoa! That seems to have done it! Wild, I never would have thought to do something like that. Why did it work, if you don't mind me asking?

@Augusta Calidia:

I finally got to have it deploy my mods. I took a look at the little {! icon} next to the warning above the change path box. Read it a few time over to get its point. When the { ! icon} was opened in it was a suggestion to create a new path a certain way and on the same drive as [game]. It said to use D:Vortex_mods/(game). I did that & I put in "Fallout 4" for game and entered it in the box and hit apply. Bingo the blockage cleared and hardline deploy activated. Went into the game and all were there , even the disabled ones. Now I gotta figger the load order maybe with loot app.
