TrueSpaghetti
Having this issue as well on 0.16.12 with Skyrim SE. Mods were installing and deploying fine previously. I uninstalled and deleted a zipped SSELODGen LOD colleteion, re-generated my LODs, took a nap, zipped the output, and added it manually to my mod download folder. Vortex saw the LOD pack correctly, but attempting to install leaves me stuck at "Preparing". ... Could you confirm please that this directory exists: path=C:\Users\Tsuki\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\themes Hey good catch. The directory does NOT exist on my computer with 0.16.15 installed. I haven't been installing as many mods (finally playing) so I haven't seen the issue appear again. I'll create the folder anyway. From my log, it definitely looks like it's getting caught up trying to scan that directory.
WastelandProject
I had the same problem, need to run the program as an administrator, open the path to the file, go to "property" under "compatibility" check the item on "run this program as an administrator". HadToRegister
I had the same problem, need to run the program as an administrator, open the path to the file, go to "property" under "compatibility" check the item on "run this program as an administrator". First, this thread is from 9 months ago, so you necro'd it. Second, NEVER run Vortex as an Administrator.I had to Claim Ownership of my files and folders that Vortex uses after I made the mistake of running it as an admin

Sinnergent
Same thing, check your bell icon, I had an error saying ".Net installation incompatible". Updating net framework solved it for me.
