NateV8
I haven't changed any plugins at all. I was in bloodlet throne, it crashed when I shot viaghar through the gate, relaoded, it was fine, crashed again a few minutes later in the same room after killing him and I was in the middle of looting, reloaded, killed everyone, looted and made it to the exit and it crashed before I saw skyrim, just before it loaded. I guess it autosaved because it keeps trying to load me outside but it crashes before I even see it. I'm very surprised SE is crashing considering how stable it is and now after 70 hours in. Is there a way to find out what is causing the crash? Acquisitive souls gems I THINK has crashed my game a few times before upon killing something and soul stealing. I know I have had 2 maybe 3 random CTDs in the 70 hours, but nothing like this with immediate 100% CTD.
NateV8
Just an update. I used the papyrus log and nothing stood out as the problem that is causing the crash. I went back a save and saved just in front of the exit of bloodlet throne but it seems that my CTD is triggered by something consistently because 18 seconds after I load up there it crashes (doesn't matter if I move). if I try to rush out the exit and load the skyrim outside world it CTDs before I see the world. Again papyrus has nothing.
sodaRAIN10
Might be a mod conflict issue or corrupted save. Try loading a different save and that might fix it. I usually rest my PC if my game crashes after the loading screen, or I choose a different save.
Pippboss
I'd try rolling back to a save about 1 or 2 levels earlier.
kryten397
Check that all your mods are form version 44 using SSEDIT.Many mods on here are not fully compatible with skyrim special edition just oldrim mods(form version 43) that havent been converted. This is known to cause save game corruption. You can play for many hours before this happens. Console modders are protected because mods can only be uploaded via the special edition creation kit.PC users have to put up with this because nexus makes no checks .
