was the container you copied from a .ESM file or a .ESP?

the reason I ask is that Oblivion tries to make .ESPs not see each other.

i used the test world and there some barrels in there so i click on one and ctrl+c it and paste again and rename the ID but i load the oblivion main data and then the esp file i working on

You must use the parent object. Placed objects are "instances" of this parent in the world, like yours will be too when placed in the render windows or ingame.

Go to the "Objects window" and chose the object you want to clone, mark it and with the mouse right click choose "edit" and change it's IDs and probably the name too (although this isn't necessary). So, when done changing everything you want and clicking OK you will be prompted to create a new FormID or Change the original one... MAKE SURE you create a new FormID.

Your newly created parent object is ready to be placed in your mod render window or put in game the way you prefer.

Try never changing original content, even if only for particular use.
